الزير سالم هو من الشعراء الجاهلية وبطل من أبطال الجاهلية، والملقب بالمهلهل بن ربيعة و تم تطوير تطبيق الزير سالم لمحبي شعره وقصائده الشيقة لتدكيرهم بكل اقواله الادبية والشعرية .هو رجل عاش في الجاهلية في شمال الجزيرة العربية و هو فارس من فرسان قبيلة تغلب فله ابنتان هما ليلى و بها يكنى ابو ليلى الزير و له ابنة أخرى هي عبيدة و منها خرج بنو عبيدة الف العديد من اعماله الشعرية اد لقت اشعار الزير سالم اقبالا وترحيبا كبير من طرف الادبين مم ساهم في اخراج و تاليف مسلسل الزير سالم لتصوير القصة بتقنية مرئية
