Simply get yourself ready with the followings to start enjoying the Hang Seng Mobile Payment Service:
1. Hang Seng MasterCard Credit Card Principal Card
Please ensure the credit card is valid, credit status is in good condition, and has been added to the account list in Hang Seng Personal e-Banking.
2. Hang Seng Personal e-Banking and an activated security device
If you are not an existing Hang Seng Personal e-Banking user, please visit http://www.hangseng.com/ebanking with a personal computer for registration. If you do not have a security device yet, please visit any branch or call 2998 6899 to apply for the security device, and activate it via Hang Seng Personal e-Banking with a personal computer.
3. Designated NFC-enabled handset
For a list of designated handset models which will be updated regularly, please visit http://www.hangseng.com/mobilepayment.
4. 1O1O, CMHK, csl or SmarTone NFC SIM Card
If you are an existing 1O1O, CMHK, csl or SmarTone customer, please exchange for the NFC SIM Card at any outlet of your mobile network operator for free (Not applicable for prepaid card, 2G mobile plan or designated mobile plan, please contact corresponding mobile network operator for details).

HTC M8 not support..... They do promotion to attract people to use their mobile payment, but not provide good support. It's really disappointed... It's totally a crab bank and IT department

Sorry, explain me why we can download your app. Install it properly then to get a message "you handset is not supported yet.." to make frustrated people ? I guess In Google play it is easy to limit downloads for corresponding models. Or simply put the device acceptable which I'm pretty sure has compatible hardwares ...

It works but HSB needs to do more. 99% of places which accept Visa Paywave already accepts Octopus payment anyway, but not the other way around (MTR rides anyone?). Octopus cards are usually w/ AAVS anyway, which coupled with the above means Visa Paywave is more or less redundant (Octopus payments made this way have a longer grace periods too as a result of AAVS cutoff timing).

The app lacks support for wide varity of devices. Next time, double check the app by beta testing it yourself. and not just with a single device or a single version of android.

For Sony Mobile, it supports Xperia Z, Z1, Z Ultra only. My Xperia ZR also launched in same period with same hardware specification, but not supported.

It doesn't even work, Hang Seng is not doing enough to push mobile payment. Better use Octopus instead.
