About Scottish Golf HandicAPP
Scottish Golf’s official handicap app allows you to carry your up-to-date handicap certificate in your pocket on your smart phone. Once downloaded, simply log-in using your Scottish Golf ID username and password to view your current handicap on screen and e-mail a nicely formatted official handicap certificate to any e-mail address you require, such as a club you’re playing as a visitor or taking part in an open competition. Or you can simply show off your new handicap to your friends after you’ve had a great score and been cut! To make the most of your HandicAPP you need to register your Scottish Golf ID number at www.scottishgolf.org/player-registration/.
Your Scottish ID number can be found on the reverse of your new Scottish Golf Membership Card, or contact your club if you do not know your number.

Why do I not have the ability to log in automatically by saving login details and why can I not get out of it? I need to press my home button to exit. The app has potential to provide one simple function but makes it to hard. Try to fix it and people might use it otherwise it is irritating and to much bother.

The idea sounds really good, but it refuses to let me logon using my details that I use on the SGU web site. Sent an email but no response. Dont bother installing until they get this logon sorted out.

Very simply tells you the exact handicap of whomever logs in. Assuming everyone registers their SGU member card then it's an easy way to show or prove handicaps on the go.
