Handcent Anywhere is a service that allows you to text on computers and tablets. It's the perfect companion tool for Handcent Next SMS.(You will need to use it with the latest version of Handcent Next SMS)

How to use Handcent Anywhere:
On your Android phone: slide to the right to open the navigation drawer, tab Handcent Anywhere. In it, turn on Handcent Anywhere, give your cellphone a name.(you can use multiple cellphones, but only one device can be used at a time) This will be the ID when you try to connect on the web. (When you have more than one cellphones(numbers), each one should have a unique name)
On your Android tablet:
Open the Handcent Anywhere on your tablet, Make sure the Handcent Anywhere is enabled in your cellphone, select the phone you want to use on the web. Now you can start texting. Also, don’t forget to upload your contacts to our server, otherwise all your contacts will appear in number format.
Handcent Anywhere is also available on web(aw.handcent.com available on any computer), and iPad.(Android Pad version is ready to go and iPad version is coming soon.)

Does absolutely nothing. Only connected once. Then lost it and has never been able to reconnect. Others are saying the same thing. Handcent (Next) SMS on phone is really great. Why can't they get this thing to work. Mighty Text does it. Pushbullet does. Verizon now has an app that does this on tablets. Does Handcent just not give a ****?

Great program! Samsung Galaxy S7 phone has Next SMS. Works well on my computer and on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. It's great being able to text on my regular phone contacts both from my computer and from my tablet.

First turn on HC Anywhere from HC Next app on your cell phone (you need to be logged into your HC acct) THEN log into this app on your tablet with your HC logon. This app really works!!!

Terrible since the new update!! Always say connecting to phone, or need to connect to phone or not connected to device!! The old handcent worked flawlessly on my tablet. For now on if it isn't broke don't fix it!! This is a total inconvenience!! Smh!!

Handcent sms or next is great. The Handcent Everywhere app is completely unusable. Most features don't even begin to work. So using HC for sms is fine. If you want the type of functionality advertised for Everywhere you will need to look elsewhere.

I loved the handcent apps however since the update I can not get handcent everywhere to connect my tablet to phone so sad....what happen cause it use to work??? Lg Flex phone Samsung 10 tablet...please help!! I have even tried making a new account but it still doesn't work! !!

I was a huge fan of this app. Used it every day. The ability to connect and text from my computer was amazing. Unfortunately, I updated to Next SMS and Anywhere 2 thinking it would help the technical issues I was having with Next SMS. The app on my phone keeps on freezing whenever I send anything from my computer. My computer is continuously trying to connect. Everytime I want to send something via the computer, I have to reconnect, send and restart my app to do it all over again. I have updated to the "new" apps several times. Logged in and logged out multiple times and this behavior does not stop. If this many people are having problems with the app, it's not on us. It needs to be changed.

I was aware of the connection issues with the older version of Handcent SMS on my android phone and the Handcent Anywhere app on my android tablet. Now, with the recent versions installed on my respective devices, it doesn't even connect at all. So disappointing! Please resolve this!

This app used to work great, hasnt worked in over a year for us. We purchased the silver level membership too. App stopped working shortly after that. Dont waste your time and money on this app until they fix it.

Was working fine on galaxy s4 as main phone but now just says it's connecting but never does. The older version worked fine. Please help us get this working again. I've used this app for a couple years with no issues but now with this new update its absolutely useless. Please fix it now.
