Scale of Toxicity for Android
Sometimes, I download an app, use it and think it's great. Then I look at the ratings, and think "why are they that bad?" Then I read some reviews, and find out that the users are too stupid for the app. Guys! Gals! The app says that if you eat pure THC nearly tht weight of a bar of chocolate it will kill you in 50% of times. As poisonous substances go, it's rather unpoisonous.
To the idiots down voting based entirely off of THC, the author is talking about PURE THC. Thing a bar of pure THC, not a chocolate bar with SOME THC mixed in. It doesn't take much pure Nicotine to kill you, but you don't see many smokers, even 4 pack a day smokers, dying of a Nicotine overdose. His facts are right, you're just assuming they're wrong for all the wrong reasons.
Very nice, simple and elegant app. But you should really add some hyperlinks to wikipedia or some other pages. It wold also be very nice to have additional info on quantities of toxins in for example a single ant bite and how many bites is required for LD50.
All things can kill you in excess. Thc poisoning is rare because most cannot extract pure thc. it does have a lethal dose the dosage listed is pure concentrated thc not marijuana leaves. You receive far less thc from marijuana than alcohol from booze because booze is more concentrated idiots. Even gold dust which is relatively safe is on the list ever hear of gold overdose? No? But it is possible.
To all Ignorants saying that THC cannot kill you, first he's talking about pure THC, and second ANY substances are toxic if the dose is important enough, even water can be deadly in excess. PS: great app.
One of them is the fugu liver is it suppose to be spelled tetrodotoxin not tetrodoxin? I will look out for more errors hehe
Annoying ads, can't zoom in or rotate to widescreen, THC unclear circumstances (the LD will be different for oral vs IV ingestion). Obvious typo, 100+ lbs when they meant ounces. To be clear, the information is nice and presented decently, but the app has flashing ads that cycle every few minutes. If the ads were static, or at least didn't flash, this would be four stars.
Interesting and informative, but could be much better with links to relevant sources or just the Wikipedia page for everything. I saw at least one unit error near the top. As far as all the stoners complaining about THC's listing -- come on people! We're talking about the pure chemical here, of course it can kill you. I've never heard of someone dying from one too many cups of coffee, but many people have fatally overdosed on caffeine pills.
For all the people that wonder why THC Is on the list, it because if you take a lot of THC all at once YOU WILL DIE . You would need to smoke over a kilogram in less than 15 minutes to die from THC overdose, that's why in never happened
Interesting facts, good app! But one minor error... I'm pretty sure glucose should be 2.5kg, not 2.5g... simple typo. It says 88oz, which is 2.5kg. I knew funnelwebs were dangerous, but not *that* dangerous... good to know!
Eh, there are some mistakes, but nothing too severe (sometimes it says g instead of mg). Also, copper-sulfate is next to impossible to kill you when taken per os as it's a powerful emetic and will cause you to expell it all before it gets absorbed in any significant amount. DISCLAIMER: I did say ALMOST! Do NOT try to drink/eat it!
Your unit of choice is oz?? Dishonour on you, dishonour on your cow! (I suggest adding a toggle.)
I used to 420 blaze it a lot and I can say if I blazed 89g of pure THC I would probably die. The thing is it's THC (active chemical), not marijuana (the whole plant) a gram of wax probably has AT MOST 95% THC. If you dab 1 gram (2g for the veteran) you probably wouldn't be physically able to dab another one for a while.
Hard liquor less toxic than... THC?! Nah, don't think so lol. App sux
It very interesting to go through and has lots of different things. Wondering if glucose towards the top should be in kg not g.
Fun reference! Although I did find one typo — it says "123.5 lb" of seawater. I think that should be "oz," not pounds. :-)
Too small on my screen, can't see it. Maybe you should add either a two-finger zoom function or a button that you can press to increase/decrease zoom. Only a suggestion, and if you do. Please notify me, due to the fact that I want to look at this, just I can't, so I am currently uninstalling it
The idea is good, but it's information is pretty bad, first, you cannot say a certain chemical takes X grams to overdose. Everyone weight is different, it should be something like X grams/kg of weight.
I love this app but what I think a great update is linking the sources and adding information if you tap on the certain poisons and such
I can't tell if it's my problem or yours but whenever I open one of your apps it just black screens. I dont know what's causing it or how to fix it.
Handy as a quick reference of toxicology, pharmacology, and epidemiology, especially for cardiologists and emergency physicians. NB: digoxin is misspelled - it is not "digitoxin"
I find it funny that all the bad reviews are people rushing to defend THC. Stoners unite!
It's not bad, but there's a couple of issues that I had with this app. Firstly, MDMA is not ecstasy, just the main ingredient in ecstasy. MDMA alone is Molly, and the more pure the yield, the more powerful the Molly will be, and Molly never comes in pill form, that's ecstasy. Ecstasy is your Molly with other drugs, i.e. lsd or cocaine. Until the MDMA is cut with something, it's just Molly. And secondly, thc would need a lot bigger of a dose than what they marked, plus you'd have to be eating it, not smoking it. You can od on edibles, but not with smoking.
But the LD50 for heroine is rather 300 my than 500, also why that app thas not working in a landscape mode?
Typo: glucose as 2.5g - assume from position on scale it should be in unit kg...
Can't believe THC is on there, since a lethal dose has never been done. If their meaning the synthetic THC compounds, it should be more specific, but THC from cannabis has never killed anyone.
Really good for when i want to prank poison my friends, speaking of that,Frank still hasen't woken up
No zoom function and can't rotate. It's just one big image and you can't see the right side of it because it's wider than a phone screen. Stupid!
Great app, love it. FYI the Inland Tiapan is the worlds most venomous land snake, not the Coastal Tiapan.
It's just a stupid picture with no more information and a bunch of ads.. at least you could link a Wikipedia article to each. Useless
The new deadliest toxin was discovered a few days ago developers, it's called the Overwatch Competitive community
Hard to understand and also lies thc overdose isnt quite possable sorry
Informative, but could use more features and even more information on the various toxins. I like the idea, though.
YOU! What do you own the world? How do you own disorder? Simple app. Exactly what it promises.
Seawater and Ibuprofen have unit/number issues.
Very interesting information compared in a lovely way which could be better when provided with sources and links unfortunately though this *app* does exactly what a PDF could've done even better
The aliens dosed me with heavy metals, drugs, and pathogens. Any dose from them is a lethal and unnecessary dose.
My only problem is overwatch competitive players aren't at the top of the list
But the LD50 for heroine is rather 300 my than 500, also why that app thas not working in a landscape mode?

I thought it my be rather dull, but the author has put together a really interesting mix of compounds. ...... I was disappointed to see multiple poor reviews based entirely in ignorance ("THC can't be toxic; no one dies from it"). If you don't understand why these claims are ridiculous, you probably wouldn't appreciate this app anyway...
