The Banda El Recodo is a Sinaloan band formed in Recodo, Sinaloa, in 19381 by Don Cruz Lizárraga, which can be considered as the pioneer in the dissemination of the genre, which had been brewing for decades, so it was known as "The Mother of All Bands"
