Habitica: Gamify Your Tasks

I only wish it worked offline :<. I get that offline you wouldn't be able to buy stuff and chat, but the basic features of making tasks, checking them, and getting points/experience could be offline. I'm uninstalling because I don't have space for an app I can only use at school, but if you fix this, I'll very gladly reinstall. This is an amazing concept, and I love this app, so please work on this.

So annoying! The app idea is great but there is no option to see completed tasks. What if I accidentally ticked something off? I didn't know how to tick off part of a to-do and accidentally ticked the whole thing off. Please fix this and allow an overview of the past in this app. Like a monthly or weekly overview of one's accomplishments. The time refreshes in the middle of my day! What kind of strange time zone is this...

I really love this app, I just want to address one bug that really bothers me. When I make a new habbit it glitches and messes up the order I put my other habbits in, I try to reorganize them but it glitches back. This goes on for about 10 minutes after I refresh the page multiple times to try to fix it. It'll be really cool if this gets fixed

I find it hard to stick to any sort of schedule, but after two years I find myself coming back to Habitica every once in a while to organize my life and set new goals. It's a great platform with a great community, and really helps me stay active!

App was either completely unresponsive or unpredictable. Sometimes I'd tap to complete a task, it wouldn't respond so I'd tap again and it would finish it multiple times, or it just wouldn't respond at all and I get a not connected to Internet error even though I am connected. This app causes me to do more work when I'm already too busy as it is. More frustrating than fun.

I used to swear by Habitica for a long time, but frankly I find it almost unusable. The biggest, most important problem is the way sync works. You can't use Habitica if offline (or have bad internet connection), you can't click several buttons in quick succession, and you are never sure if clicking a button actually sends data to server, Android widgets are absolutely unusable. Habitica's manual frames it as if it's not their, but user's fault. I have more than a dozen of Habits and about the same amount of Dailies, most of which are themselves checklists. I keep track of multiple habits, therefore I open Habitica and press + and - many times a day, sometimes several times in an hour. If every time I try to register a Habit or a Daily I must worry about Habitica not syncing properly, then it robs me of time and mental energy. Which makes it useless for actually instilling habits.

I would love to be able to reorder tasks in the app, that functionality is glitching lately. Great productivity app. Problems with label filtering and scrolling and having to reset app are a pain. Needs an update

I keep tapping and it's just unresponsive. It seems like a fun app but to keep tapping and not getting anywhere is annoying It just stops... Please fix seems like a fun app to try out

Only issues are minor sync issues which are easily fixed by a quick close and reopen of the app. i.e. after hatching, the pet won't show under "pets" until app is restarted. Besides this one very MINOR ISSUE, the app is a wonderful portal to the website, and makes it very easy to keep up with my tasks, through out the day!

This is SO perfect! Now I can't stop doing chores and improving myself, while I gain gold that I can spend on custom rewards like playing video games for an hour, chips etc. Been such tremendous help for my lazy ass. If anything, I'd love to be able to customize more values, like task rewards for the different difficulties, loss from not completing tasks etc. Always try to see the fun in what you do.

I like the of what the app is for, however, I cannot interact with Quest through the app, be it damage to a boss or collecting Quest items. I have to sign in on my laptop. That kind of defeats the purpose of the app, especially when I paid for a subscription.

r helpful app. Combining real life tasks and gaming is really genius. The app is great so far and I hope it will be much better in the future. So to those who haven't, check it out.

Doesn't work on Moto X Pure. Far too slow to handle it I think. Seemed like a good idea, but I can't access the features to make it workable.

I love Habitica and have used it for years, but this app has a pretty bad UI and is full of bugs. Disappointing.

The ui is beautiful yet clunky. Adding friends to party is way too hard, doesn't work offline which is rediculous. Needing to refresh all the time is bad design.

I have to close the app and reopen it whenever I want to see my new task. The concept is interesting, I will still use it, but it's annoying. Please fix this.

Lacks Offline Mode I get that the app needs to sync. However, there are times in a day, and these times add up, where I won't have access to the net. So, the fact that i can't log my habits offline is a real upset. Gamifying tasks is not for me.

I really like this app! However, it does have a lot it could improve on. I think it should have the option to add friends to a party by using their user ID instead of scanning the QR code. I have most of my friends in other states so it would be more convenient that way. I also would be nice if it had a notification or pop up telling you when you joined a party or a guild. When you initially click it, it seems like nothing happened and if you click it again it says you be already joined. Once a couple tweaks are made to make it a little more user feiendly, it would easily be a 5 star.

Great idea but toooo many bugs. I Could not even get my avatar selected before the app crashed.

Nice app. Needs better explanation on rewards and difficulty of tasks. Also the ability to remove last update of a positive or negative habit

This app would be down right amazing if the system for tagging goals wasn't glitchy af. Fix that and it's 5 stars

This is quite the app that makes me productive and worried about my digital score or accomplishments.

I like this app. I just wish it is working offline and just have my changes sync to the server when I come online.

No ads and does what it should really well.

Pretty fun, cute art, flexible UI. I've enjoyed it so far, I just wish it had Trello integration! My habits I really need help with are tasks in Trello!

Can I use this offline? I guess the answer is NO. Suggestion: I hope you guys make this work offline and just sync it when I hook with WiFi. The layout is impressive but useless if offline. ????????????

How do you delete your avatar and start again?

It's missing key features like a calendar of past accomplishments and the ability to undo check marks.

Most of the buttons don't work for some reason

It's slow to update and pretty buggy, but it's a good idea and helps me and my friends maintain accountability.

A note taking system would be a great addition. Please make in-game items more accessible, there is a significant paywall.
