The Habit Factor® Goals,Habits for Android
Buggy. Can't set dates on goals and problems with date pickers on habits.
My problem isn't just getting into the habit, it's REMEMBERING. The widget takes up a SINGLE square of my home screen & it's attractive (that's important to me). It just shows the logo and a red number. When I've done it all, the number goes away and I feel a sense of pride in getting the number cleared. (It's like a little reward) Also it takes me straight to the checklist (convenient). No other app (and I've bought lots) has such a great widget to remind me. Since using this I've been doing much better!
Very easy to post progress throughout the day. Each time you do, you see at a glance your progress on all your daily habits. This is very helpful. Also, it's easy to export your weekly progress chart to Evernote, Facebook, or other app. This gives you a perspective over a longer time horizon of your ups and downs. While not perfect, the app is undergoing continuous improvement and is still the best habit tracker I've tried!
I am using Lenovo Vibe P1 (5.5" display). Unable to view the save button after editing a habit. A small part of the button is visible above the bottom of the screen, and is not responding to touch.
1 star till you create a proper android version. I cant stand the iphone interface and lack of landscape orientation.
I have had this app for a long time. Every time i get a new phone or a replacement phone i have to start over. The backup doesn't work. Love the concept, frustrated with the implementation.
Helpful to track key habits . I like the simplicity of the app.
Habit Factor Pro crashes when I select Backup on my Galaxy Tab 4 (Android 4.4.2) - can this fix be prioritized please?
Update: Revised to 4 stars based on excellent support!... I'm still implementing the habit factor and I like it. I think the methodology is genius yet simple. HOWEVER, the difference between this app and a paper worksheet is minuscule. Why build an app without utilizing technological tools as simple as scheduling and reminders? I think that with the addition of just those two features, the relevance of its methodology on a smartphone will finally be apparent.
Let me begin by stating that this app is one of the greatest, essential apps for personal development. I bought an excellent book which I highly recommend as well. I used it for some time on my iphone, and couldn't be happier. However, when I switched to android. On my samsung galaxy device I was not able to attach any pictures to goals. I contacted customer support, and guess what was the solution they offered? A REFUND! Now, that's what I call an excellent customer service!
I migrated Habit Factor Pro from my old Galaxy Tab 2 to my new Tab 4, and in the process lost my contents, which weren't much yet, so I'm ok with that. But now Habit Factor won't back up on the new tablet, it just crashes. Ideas?
The Habit Factor is one of the top apps that I use on a daily basis. It is a great tool to help me measure my success. This is one of the apps that I will never delete from my phone. I also purchased the Habit Factor book to gain a better understanding of the principles behind the app. There is also great customer support.
I managed to set up exactly 1 habit. As the menu no longer fits on the screen, I cannot scroll as far down to reach the button to save the habit. Please correct
I was never a detail person but I know its necessary when achieving goals. This app helps keep me on track daily!! Love the simplicity!!
Love it
Why would you program this so that you can't add the same named goal after you delete one? What exactly did you think the point of that was? There is none, it's just LAZY programming. Took a few too many shortcuts. And no way to contact the developers? Why the hell did I pay for this. Scammers
What I like: 1. The ability to set goals and then tie habits to each goal. You are asked to provide detail on the goal which can really help you visualize it. 2. You can tie each habit to multiple goals Some pretty major limitations: 1. This is suited only toward tracking DAILY habits, where you can check off the habit or not. For example, say your goal is to run 600 miles in a year. Well, this won't work for that unless you are planning on creating a DAILY habit of running 2.5 miles a day. Each day, you get to check off whether you ran 2.5 miles or not. You can't enter the number of miles you ran and have it total up. It keeps track of the number of DAYS where you did the habit, not the quantity of the habit. 2. You can't delete (or complete) a goal, and then later on create a new goal with the same name. (that is BAD programming) 3. You can't go back and enter historical data. I had a goal of running 600 miles in 2012. I installed this app on Jan 15. I can't go back and enter the mileage data from Jan 1 - Jan 15 and have it count toward the goal progress. 4. Can't re-order goals or habits in their respective lists 5. Can't create sub-goals off of goals
This app has helped me gain control over my household duties and I love it!
A tired, old iPhone style app. Needs a refresh to modern Android interface. But it works and motivates as is ...
I am highly motivated by checking accomplishments off of a list--The app is great for that. However, I am also extremely busy, so I can go days w/out visiting the app to indicate my progress, so by the time I revisit the app, I can't accurately record which habits I performed b/c I don't remember. The best way to improve this app is to include preferences for reminder notifications. The options could be a reminder 1 or more times per day, or the option to set a reminder for each goal/habit.
Ugly splash screen, limited functionality, bizarre navigation. Overall feels primitive.
Not a good way to start. I tried the lite version and liked it, so I upgraded. And then I discovered my habits and goal from the Lite version were wiped out. No history. Have to recreate them. Not good app design. Hope my experience improves from here.
If positive habits is what you want this app delivers but you have to invest the time to use it. You get out what you put in.
Helps me to stay on track. Funny how much better I feel when I'm doing the things I need to do. :)
This app is the best. To improve you must always be measuring your progrees. This app does just that.
Please add widget to check that goal or habit has been completed for the day. Also, add a once a week setting for a habit. Have a few that I do once a week. Add those two things and I'll give 5 stars.

This application is a life changer if you're willing to follow thru...the interface is great, not sure why people are complaining about it...this app is intuitive and powerful...it's a value at this price...
I wish there was a backup feature for the recorded track history. I would be really sad and mad if I lost my 33 habits and 17 goals which Im workin on
I upgraded from the free version about a year ago, and I was very happy to do so because the app was formatted to fit my old Razr M. However, when I upgraded last month to the HTC One, I find that I am unable to save my habits because the save button is buried under the toolbar when I scroll down to the bottom of the screen. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't make a difference. I loved the app and I love the phone. How can we get them to work better together? Is this a glitch with KitKat?
I would like to recommand this app to everyone who is trying to achive som gols. What you need is trackong and will to do so :)
... for tracking daily habits towards long term or short terms goals.
I really need to tick quantities to overcome my all or nothing mentality. This app encourages that by only letting me tick once when I achieve minimum. Which is ok but I will not strive to reach max if I only have to do mininum. I want to strive to get 8 cups a day but I don't want to get zero credit for getting 6. Nor do I want to set the minimum at 6 and not be able to record 8 when I achieve it.
And very helpful but only for those who are willing to make an effort to improve their life.
I get great results from using this app!
Love it.
I bought paid version, not a single update yet and its been a while... This app may seem great at first but its not simple enough to keep you on streak. (ie. If you want to see your streaks, youll have to "generate reports" habit by habit) After carefull consideration ans months of use, 2 stars at the most.
What is wrong with "streak overview". It doesn't work ever since the last update!

It's a good app, but... not real intuitive. Can't reuse goals, and my biggest complaint is the screen won't always scroll down far enough to get to the last fields or the save button. They stay hidden under the tool bar.
