Important info about restroing sms data:
There is a settings in the default Messaging app that deletes older messages from conversations which have more than 200 messages. When restoring 1000s of messages this setting can cause a lot of problems because it keeps trying to delete messages when you try to open the conversation. If you are restoring lots of messages, then disable this setting by opening the Preferences of the Messaging app. On some devices it can take a long time to index the new message data. If you get a blank screen or if the phone asks you to “Force Close” or “Wait” when opening the messaging app just press “Wait” and leave the Messaging app running for a while. It will eventually finish and the app will become usable again.

When running the Nandroid backup on my Rooted LG LK430, I got the following messages: Boot not Found, Recovery not Found, Consider installing patch file for your device for a complete nandroid. How do I resolve these issues? PS: The nandroid backup completed successfully, except for the 3 messages.

What a super awesome app, especially when paired with "Online Nandroid Backup." You can back up your Nandroid WITHOUT booting to Recovery, read the logs, and even peruse your nandroid backup without any restarts. These two apps are truly amazing. Thank you very much H3R3T1C!!! -Note 4 N910T

Used to work great. Now it takes hours to restore and w. ill not restore data for most apps. I hope this changes because I've counted on this app for a while now. Edit: running custom ROM and permissions had been disabled. Once I gave this app all permissions it asked for it started working again. Fast and easy.

After upgrading to a new software, messed up a few things and had to wipe and downgrade. Now, I am trying to restore a backup i made with the app and after it restores it stays on the boot screen. Any advice?

Used to work like a charm, but nowadays takes a few hours just to load the apps when trying to restore them. Very frustrating!

I used this many years ago on my HTC Evo 3d. Recently I need a couple apps from my backup. Tried couple of others and they wouldn't work. I have a LG G3 using TWRP 3.0 and compression. This app worked great.

This obviously used to be a great app. I like the interface for extracting apps from a Nandroid backup but unfortunately the last update was two years ago and so it no longer works reliably on new phones/ROMs. Just tried restoring about 70 apps from my backup and about half of them failed with an error. So I guess I have to go back to Titanium even though the interface there is not as nice.

Restore process is incredibly slow. Apps restored from Nandroid backups may not work correctly. Several of the apps I restored from a Nandroid backup made using TWRP would crash when starting. I switched to using Titanium backup for restoring from a Nandroid backup, which was successful.

Awesome!! This app understands your necessity & responds accordingly! It restored sms from twrp backup though failed at first. Be patient to enjoy Dev"s magic. Thanks Thomas 0tero.

How are you going to give this app a bad review because the Dev. "won't teach you how to install busybox"?! This is not a busybox installation helper app. This app does what it is supposed to do, nothing more. I wish I could install an app that made a Dev. appear in my kitchen and bake me cookies but since this app didn't do that, should I give it a bad review? Ugh, people can be so stupid!

M70%
by M####:

Please update so that the app restores file permissions otherwise only Nandroid Manager automatically gets to own all the apps eventually and the apps will crash when launched. I have to set the permissions myself.

Replaced that metallic backup app after my first try. Deleting those backups saved a ton of space. Not as fast as Ti, but if you're restoring apps that often you're doing it wrong.

V70%

Bought pro support dev, but app is a total disappointment. App restores take *forever* and regularly fail to restore. Going back to titanium backup.

The best one i can ever have. If u have 100 apps and u want to restore u don't hv to click install for 100 times awesome dev

Not the best looking app around, but it has worked flawlessly for me so far. I wipe data & flash roms often enough that this is a must-have. Worth it for SMS restore alone.

If I select individual files, no file is restored at all. If I restore whole folder, files are creates but all zero length.

G70%

It works in a way but it doesn't restore data along with the apps and sometimes apps force close and don't work anymore. Basically it restores some apps properly while others break.

I used to use another backup app service but it just refuses to recognize my backups in external SD nandroid did it on its own in just a few secs its intuitive and simple, love it

M70%

Works on all the devices. Bugs very little and UI is simplistic. Just as I need it to be.

Awesome Buddy! This App Is Life Saver.. Helped Me To Recover When I Was Stuck

M70%

Well i like this application for fixing permissions. When i face FC error with any app then i use to fix permissions with nandroid manager.

N70%
by N####:

I like this app, which is simple to understand and does what it is meant for. The only issue i face was when i upgraded to Android 5.1.1 and the whole directory structure changes due to emulation. While i could take backup at any path through Online Nandroid Backup. the Nandroid Manager only checks for backups in /sdcard only. I had to move the backup manually to /data/media to view it in the app.

This app made my day, was unable to restore one of my backup apps old thru tb constantly giving errors or just hanging but this took 5 mins to restore the app +data that too from the nandroid backup file! NM ROCKS!!!

When selecting to extract a folder, all files are created as empty files (0 byte length). Only restoring individual files 1-by-1 worked OK for me. Device: Samsung S5, Android 5.0, and trying to extract from a Nandroid backup created by TWRP. Unfortunately I already payed for the PRO version. The developer stopped further maintenance of this app, but continues to try earning money for the PRO version... Pretty dishonest. Nb. Alternate app 'TWRP Explorer' (free!) did the job for me!

good app for some things - changing from 5 star review.. Seems the developer has stopped working on it, so DO NOT BUY if you think you will get updates. Restore homescreen is not available. Restoring apps is not 100% working and it takes FOREVER!!! Restoring messages, wireless networks and phone logs work. A shame that you buy an app with no warning that it is not being worked on anymore. I flash a lot of Roms so use it, but need TIBU as well.

Only works half the time. App hangs and doesnt restore app+data. This app is worthless. I won't be supporting this dev again

It doesn't work on android 5 Lollipop - cant restore app or data for app. This was very useful. I hope in the next version it will work.

... it's worth donating for the time and effort invested by the dev for users who want more from their phones. Appreciated!
