Only one phone worked the other phone would load up to be the monitor or the viewer. Was thinking this would be cool but set up was to long for nothing to work

Is this app only a GUI without any functions? Nothing happens when I click on either monitor or viewer.

I wish I would have known about this app 4 years ago! With our first two kids we used a clunky, overpriced baby monitor that quite frankly didn't do a great job despite it's high cost. This app makes things so much easier. No longer do we have to worry about charging a baby monitor that uses a special type of plug. Now we can just turn on two cell phones and have a high quality video feed of the baby. I also really like the feature that allows you to play music or white noise in the background. My son sleeps much better with a little bit of sound and having the ability to control that from another phone is great! If you are in the market for a baby monitor save your money and get this app. I was asked to review this product but received no compensation for doing so.

This app is wonderful! I couldn't believe how easy it was to install and set up on the two devices. I used my iPhone as my viewer and my Kindle Fire as my monitor. I have also used two Kindle Fires and they work great-just runs the batteries down, but since I use them at home, I just plug the tablet in after each use. The sounds don't seem very loud on the Kindle, but honestly, it's probably the Kindle and not the app. Also, it is probably good that it isn't too loud when the baby is sleeping. I liked that I can hear my baby as well or talk to him through the device. I like that I can tell that he has not covered his face with a blanket, is comfortable or is coughing without going into the room and disturb him. The only negative I see is if you do something else on your phone, then the devices disconnect (iPhone and Kindle, not Kindle to Kindle). It wasn't that big of a deal the first time because I just went in and reconnected. Also, where do the pictures go? They weren't in my photo albums. Weird. I will be recommending this to all my mommy friends. It is so easy and offers a great peace of mind. I received this in exchange for my honest review.

I love this App. Fantastic baby monitor app. It's very simple to use and works very well. I could view my baby in the room very clearly and the video is very smoothy. The sound from the baby is also very clear to hear and especially I could talk to my baby. I'm so happy to see what is the reaction from my baby when she hears my voices but can't find where I am. This free app of baby monitor is not only providing clear video and two-way talks but also even more. I could take the snapshot to capture lovely moment of my little one. Furthermore, I could play lullaby music from any song of my phone to my baby. I hope they could have something that I could login to see even when I'm away from home since this app is only for at home use. However, it's good enough for a baby monitor app because you won't leave a infant alone at home. Will you? I definitely would like to recommend this baby monitor app.

I can't believe i found this app such late. It's very simple to use and all of my family members now using it. I have few old smart phones including iphone. I allocate them in several rooms to see whole my house. I just need to open this app then I could try to see where I want to see. Mostly I use them to check where is my kids and once I found them, I could talk to them. Snap time, I play the music to my kids through this app as well. The music is very clear of course the video as well. I have no complain about this app especially it's free. It's the best baby monitor app.

It seems to work...unless you're in the same room with both devices and make a noise. Once you make a noise, there's a terrible feedback that just gets louder and louder. Needs an on-screen mute button.

I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest review and opinion. At least for now it is still a free app that can be used by anyone. This works very well to monitor while at home. It is very clear and I didn't have any interruptions. That is also going to be based on your Internet and WI-FI though. The features are very nice and it is a great option for anyone that has an extra smartphone around. I would love this, if I was able to connect from a separate location. I leave my puppy home and I want to be able to monitor what is happening when I'm out of the house.

So I have a regular Gynoii video monitor and I have tried the App and I have to say I love them both. I mean who ever thought of this is a pure genius. The fact that you can take an old unused phone and turn it into a video monitor is just incredible. I know that the regular monitor you don't have to be connected to WIfi to still see whats going on. If the Talkie app is the same that'd be great!
