TIP-ordboka

TIP-ordboka er et praktisk oppslagsverk laget med tanke på elever som tar utdanningsprogrammet Vg1 Teknikk og industriell produksjon. Ordboka er en del av TIP-serien fra Gyldendal Undervisning og inneholder om lag 1100 oppslagsord med forklaringer på faguttrykk fra programfagene på Vg1 TIP. En rekke av illustrasjonene fra lærebøkene er også tatt med i ordboka og bidrar til å vise det teksten handler om.

Artiklene i TIP-ordboka foreligger både på bokmål og nynorsk samt på polsk og litauisk. Elever og fagarbeidere med polsk eller litauisk bakgrunn kan slik velge å bruke morsmålet som en språklig støtte både under utdanningen og på arbeidsplassen. De norske oppslagsordene er også lest inn så man har muligheten til å høre hvordan faguttrykkene uttales.

Forfatter Eyolf Herø står bak utvalget av oppslagsord og teksten i artiklene. Herø er også en av forfatterne bak TIP-serien og har lang erfaring med undervisning i TIP på videregående skole. Illustrasjonene til TIP-serien er laget av Bjørn Norheim og Bjørn Picard (elektroteknikk). Rettigheter for øvrige illustrasjoner og fotografier er oppgitt ved hvert enkelt bilde.

The dictionary is part of the TIP series Gyldendal Teaching and contains about 1100 entries with explanations of technical terms from the program subjects at Vg1 TIP. A series of illustrations from the textbook are also included in the dictionary and helps to show the text is about.

The articles in the TIP dictionary are both Bokmål and Nynorsk and the Polish and Lithuanian. Students and workers with Polish or Lithuanian background can thus choose to use their mother tongue as a language support both during training and in the workplace. The Norwegian lookup words are also read into that one has the opportunity to hear how to pronounce technical terms.

Author Eyolf Herø behind the choice of words and text of the articles. Herø is also an author of the TIP series and has extensive experience teaching in the TIP in high school. The illustrations for the TIP line is made of bear Norheim and Bjorn Picard (electrical engineering). Rights for the other illustrations and photographs are provided by each image.
