Auto Rotate Widget

Galaxy J5 stopped rotating. Rotate option vanished from menu. This app solved the problem. Also it uses none of the usual spyware options. Great.

Downloaded it, twice. Can't find it anywhere on the phone. Update, tried a third time. You have to do the long press on blank spot on the home screen then choose the widget file to find it

Biggest blunder... Never makes itself visible on Android desktop

Had this on a couple of older phones, tried to re install on the newest one and although downloaded, it never appeared anywhere mysteriously on the phone. Will reluctantly use a different one. Shame.

When I turn autorotate off, it flips to horizontal mode. It will not lock in vertical but automatically flips to horizontal.

I've switched phones in the past and reinstalled my phone a few times. Always go back to this app because the design looks great and does what it is suppose to do. Awesome widget.

What you want in an app: Does its job without stealing your information with NSA-level permissions; pretty or inventive ways to show its status; and stability. The toggle widget fits all three requirements.

Simple, direct, easy, no gimmicks or strings attached. Exactly what I wanted!

But it's not

To rotate screen..It's useless

Unfortunately it locks the rotation to portrait-mode only. So it works fine, except that what I needed was to disable my device's hyper-sensitive need to switch to portrait.

Nice to have on pre-Lollipop devices.

It installs, but right there on the Play store page, there is no Open button. Then I can't find it in the widget list or even the app list. On Settings > Apps, it's there, but again, there is no Open or Launch button, only Uninstall. App Tyrant is an app that can run, backup or uninstall apps, but it can't run this one. Weird!

Doesn't work with Moto G. Only the second one I've tried but neither of them worked. It shows in the settings menu that it IS switching auto rotate on and off, but doesn't actually do it. Auto rotate doesn't work at all until app is uninstalled.

This is exactly what I was looking for!! It's just a simple widget, the size of an app, that toggles the auto-rotate that's hidden away in the settings. 4 clicks to now 1 click for toggling auto-rotate!!

I wish there were more of these.
