I weigh over 320 pounds. I bought this app and then ignored it for 2 months. I finally used it and today I finished it. I have never been a runner or even wanted to be but this is getting me moving and keeping up with it is easy! I'm pretty sure I never got to 5k (running on elliptical) but I did an extra 10 minutes on my last day just because I could. Moving is moving and I'm not racing anyone but me. Please try it. It's so worth it!

Got myself back on to the C25k program. I was going to use the techno podcast that I found years ago with the chime chaning bpms. Then realized I now own a smart phone, there 'got be an app for that'. Used this this morning for my first run, just listened to regular ole' morning talk radio. And this was perfect! Chimed in over the radio when I needed to change pace, very straight forward "walk now, good job, now jog, good job". This is a game changer for doing C25k, well worth the $2.

I like this app, and want to love it, but for some reason the notifications are not working at all on my google nexus. Please fix this as I'm tired of being forced to watched to the clock count down. UPDATE: After emailing the developer and switching out headphones the notifications started working. Love it!!! I have finished the c25k program, and moved on to the B210k program. Thank you for this program and your prompt attention to my emails!!

Great! Love it, u can finish a day and post to FB. It times u and shows how many runs u have left. My only issue is that if ur volume is turned down before u enter the ap u can't increase volume to hear chimes after your in the program.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled and can't get this to stop crashing. It will work for two days, then on the third, it will stop counting down somewhere in the middle of your workout. It then has to be force closed from the app menu. Not happy, and very frustrated.

I'm changing my review to 5 starts. I was having a problem hearing the notification while playing my music - I contacted the developer and he got back to me right away. It works! Must have been an user error :-)

I'm getting back to running after a long break. The times used to work perfectly on my old phone. In my Moto G2, 90 seconds of running turned out to be 3 minutes, the 60 second timer counted down from 45.

Initially this wouldn't open on my samsung note 3. Said no valid license found. I paid, and was connected to wi-fi. Google play was giving me option to uninstall but not to receive refund. It has since started working but not a good start!

I'm on an Atrix and all it does is crash. Out of 3 runs only one completed successfully. If you stop the run it won't restart. I have to power down the phone to exit the app. Unfortunately I paid for the pro. Money down the drain.

Started running again after sitting on my butt for a couple of years. Just finished week 7 of the 9 week program. Starts out easy and slowly increases time running. Running over 25 minutes with out stopping now and lost 7 pounds.

I love this app, I really do. But there is NOTHING more frustrating than finishing a run and having the app start the day over and not filling in the little green space. It feels almost like a wasted workout. Please fix this!

Love this ap. Currently doing week 5 but ice started having trouble posting to facebook. It was working before but now I get an error message when I try ti post to facebook

I used this in the past and it worked pretty well but now this version is pathetic. Can't hear the notifications at all never mind over music. Ended up having to switch the sounds to my sms sounds and turn off the music. Useless. Can't even access music through the app which I could before. Very disappointing. And then when I completed my run it jumped back to ten mins so was as if I hadn't run at all. Will be uninstalling and buying a different app.

I love this app! It's the only thing that keeps me motivated to exercise! Works great on my lg optimus t. For those of you that can't hear the voice prompts you have to increase the volume in the app's settings. I open google music first then open this. Id give it 5 stars if it had gps!

I like the app and the purpose of it. However doesn't work right. Stops out of nowhere. And then when I want to exit the app Facebook pops up and I can't exit the app. Wouldn't an exit option make sense. Seems like easy things to fix. I even paid for this app!

I bought this app in 2012 and it then disappeared from the play store only to reappear again from "Guy Hoffman" instead of "GH Android Apps". In order to keep the same functionality I paid for the first time, I had to buy it all over again.

Love this app so much, got to end of week three on the lite version and then just had to upgrade for the extra benefits of the paid app, onto week 4 now and it's much better than the lite version and I am super happy and I am actually running! :) Like the voice prompts, better than the chimes, I've even gone a grabbed the B210K, looking forward to that goal. Only thing that I think would improve it is that it would have been cool if it knew my progress from the lite app and greened out the previous weeks that I've l already done, maybe it's just me, I am a completeist sorry ;)

Got me back in to running after nearly 20 years. Every other attempt has ended in exhaustion or injury or both, but with this it has seemed almost effortless. Love the integration with the music player and custom markers for long runs.

Sometimes pauses mid-program. No way to get to the next segment without redoing the one you just finished, which is very annoying.

Works well on Mytouch 4G. I wish it showed the workout status on the lock screen (how much time was left).

I used this originally two years ago to get myself in condition to run a 5K and it worked great. I had an accident last fall that had me in crutches for weeks, and I've used this app again to get back in condition. Just started week nine! I've found the trick to listening to something while using this app is to start the other app first, then run this.

It reset and stopped my warm-up timer several times today while screen locked, had to install rundouble on the road to get my run in, now I can't even exit c25k, have to force stop. HTC one s

Motorola Atrix 4G on AT&T. The app starts more-or-less successfully, but will occasionally stop during a run, and will exit at end almost never. I have to force-stop 9 times out of 10. Sent email to developer with these comments and have heard no response at all.

by Z####:

This used to work great (last time I did c25k) but this time it silently stops running early in the workout. Running on cyanogen mod 10, jelly bean. I'm finding that other apps stop unexpectedly more than on other versions of Android so it may not be the developer's fault, but it would be great if this could be fixed.

Just used it for the first time tonight and it works as stated. Listened to Audio Galaxy while using this program and had no problems. Voice prompts are clear as the music is muted just long enough to hear the prompts. Great program, love it............... so far.

I have never been a runner but last night I finished Week 5 - a full 20 minute run! If I wasn't using this app, I would not be able to do this. This app is amazing and the fact that I can control my music while I am running makes the $1.99 totally worth it! :O)

Before using this program I could barely run for a minute straight - now 8 weeks in I am running for 28min!

G70%

This was the first app I purchased last year, and I love it -- its a great simple way to get myself moving and I'm well on my way to my first 5k. I'll probably purchase C210k next. Can't wait.

This app is everything I said I wish I could have when I started doing the C25K program without a smart phone. E.G., "I wish I had some way to be notified about the intervals without having to look at my watch." The best part of this app is the audio queues that help you on the intervals. You can also run anywhere, without knowing the location, thanks to the halfway "turn around!" alert. My only negative is that the integrated music player controls don't work for the HTC Incredible.

Does what it is supposed to do. It loses 1 star because it does stop itself on occasion. Its not common but does happen

Went from not running since high school (20 years exactly) to finishing 5k without stopping under 12 min/mile. Doing my first 5k this weekend - never in a million years thought I could pull it off! Couldn't have done it without C25K. Done with all the weeks, getting Bridge to 10k now. Thank you for the app, Pro is definitely worth the tiny upgrade cost.

Motorola Atrix running official at&t rom. Notifications doesn't come through bluetooth headphones, and worst of all it loses workout logs and settings every time I close and reopen the app.

This is a great piece of software. Instead of tones, there is a voice prompt to remind you to switch activities! Only thing missing is GPS SUPPORT.

I woul reccomend this to anyone I weighed 290 lbs and now 250 and I can run without stopping, but the weight and this program wont work unless you watch what you eat..Thanks guy you have changed my life...

Great app. I went from ”not being able to run to save my life” to just under 3 miles in 30 minutes. It's not easy, but nothing worth doing ever is.

Seems to pause a lot mid-run, which is frustrating in the earlier weeks when you're doing more interval running. Other than that, no complaints.

Will often stop counting down as if I never started it when I lock the screen or use another app. Because of which I lose my progress..

Second time around using this app and is much easier this time around and the app itself is straight forward no frills....Just what I need!!! Love the break in music to update pace.....all around happy with it!

Great app! Does all that's really needed for the Couch to 5k program at 1/5 the space. Had to upgrade just on principle!

Z70%
by Z####:

This app has really helped get me back in shape, I highly recommend it, and the c25k program to all. I use bluetooth headphones with music controls, but it's still helpful to see what song is on to ensure there is a fast enough tempo. Also, being able to multi-task has allowed me to catch up on emails while walking. The lack of landscape mode makes me worry that my phone will fall off the treadmill and makes typing with the physical keyboard on the T-mobile G2 tough. Please add this functionality!
