SAS + AAA

An access code is required to use all of the features of this application. Access codes are for students, only. All access codes are case-sensitive, and upper case.


NEWS SECTION
-News are updated by authorized staff, only (no spamming).
-Receive a push notification whenever news are updated.


EVENT CALENDAR
-Dynamic event calendar to be updated bi-weekly by SAS' Media Relations Specialist, Dennis Lindsay.
-Run Queries: search for the date of the next early release, SAT/ACT day, and more.
-Receive a push notification whenever new events are available (you can opt-out).


HOMEWORK LOG
-Use this to keep track of your homework assignments.
-Homework posts are private, but they can be shared! If you share a homework post then everyone who has the given class will be able to see that assignment — it's a win-win for everyone.
-Receive a push notification whenever new homework is added (you can opt-out).
-Currently you can only enter one due date (no distinction between even and odd days exists at this time).


CLUB MEETINGS
-Club officers can post the dates of their club meetings on this app.
-Students can set a reminder.
-Receive a push notification whenever new club meetings are added (you can opt-out).


SUGGESTION BOX
-Submit suggestions to the SGA that corresponds to your specific campus (WIP).
-Suggestions can be anonymous.


EXTRAS
-You may use this app to directly access the student portal.
-Student resources are available (they haven't been updated for all campuses, yet).


CAVEATS + NOTES
-Gingerbread (Android 2.3.x) support is limited.
-No tablet support exists at this time.
-AAA North is not supported as of April 6th, 2014. You may still use the app as a guest. Guests don't have access to the Homework Log or to Club Meetings.
-The homework log and the club meetings sections may contain erroneous content (since said content was added for testing purposes only).


TO-DO
-Distinguish between even and odd due dates on the Homework Log.
-Include AAA Faculty and Staff.
-Include student resources that are relevant to all campuses.
-Include a "Rate my Professors" like fragment that contains feedback from your peers (SAS students), only.

ACCOUNT LEVELS (permissions are granted upon request)
Admin: can post on any section and edit any post.
Journalist: can post in the news section and homework section.
Club officer: can post in the clubs section and homework section.
Student: can post in the homework section.
Guest: can't post anywhere but can still submit suggestions.
