Blue Control

This useful app is perfect for first time Bluetooth users. Very simple to use, nothing to configure, nothing to go wrong. It just WORKS with all kinds of BT modules. NO ADS and it's a small download. The thirteen buttons work just like an IR remote control. Easy to drive a robot around and trigger various functions. Some sliders would be nice, and per other commenters, the ASCII values sent are swapped for buttons B & C, but I can't complain. A very simple, intuitive app. Thank you Joseph Gundel! PS: Ignore the one-star reviewers who can't figure out how to connect to a BT module. If you don't see a "Connect" option, press & hold the menu button on your phone. Of course, you must scan & pair first, usually the password is 1234.

The app stops sending data if you push up twice in a row (at least on my phone, 100% of the time) it is a shame because i thought this was going to save me a huge deal of time writing my own app. also as Gmo H stated B and C are reversed. i don't really care about that so much... i just wanted a super simple controller for a game i am making with an fpga.

I was able to control the robot and also 8 devices, using HC-05 Blue tooth and was working nice. app is awesome .. but if we use android version 2.3 the entire layout will not be seen, we miss some buttons 'E', 'f" , 'g", 'h'. , but it works good for tablets .....

Thus is a great tool for debugging your hardware when you don't have your own app yet. ***NOTE: in this current version the ASCII sent when ”B” and ”C” are pressed are SWITCHED. ”c” is sent when ”B” is pressed and ”b” when ”C” is pressed. Not a big deal.

Works fine. Would be nice if UI could be customized - at least labels for buttons. Repeat on some keys would be nice, too. But it works, it's free, and it provides good functionality. Thanks!

Horrible! The screen was a remote but it didn't do anything and the second time I tried to use it there was a black,blank screen. INSTALLING!
