Gun LEX

Sdružení LEX vzniklo v roce 1998. Jeho hlavním a trvalým úkolem je bránit zájmy všech legálních držitelů zbraní, tedy i těch, kteří vlastní zbraně všech kategorií, ať už pro svou obranu, sport, myslivost, k výkonu povolání nebo zaměstnání či ke sběratelským účelům.

Naše sdružení od svého vzniku mnohokrát dokázalo, že tyto zájmy bránit umí. Velmi významně jsme se podíleli na přípravě nového zákona o zbraních a střelivu, který svou vyvážeností patří k nejlepším v Evropě.

Postupně jsme začali naplňovat další cíle našeho sdružení, zejména osvětu, vzdělávání, sportovní aktivity a v neposlední řadě i výchovu držitelů zbraní k zodpovědnému chování a bezpečné manipulaci se zbraní.

Po vstupu České republiky do Evropské Unie jsme se stali členy velké evropské rodiny. Je však nezbytné bedlivě střežit svá práva i v tomto velkém prostoru, kde by snadno mohlo dojít k jejich okleštění ve jménu jakýchsi iluzorních vyšších zájmů. Proto chceme spolupracovat s organizacemi s totožným nebo obdobným zaměřením v celé Evropě. Pouze společným postupem těchto organizací může být zajištěno právo řádného občana na vlastnictví zbraně.

V současné době úzce spolupracujeme se slovenskou Legis Telum a máme navázány neformální kontakty s rakouskou IWÖ a britskou The Sportsman’s Association.

Sdružení LEX pracovalo během celé své historie tak, aby dosahovalo co nejlepších výsledků na poli zájmu svých členů i široké veřejnosti. V tomto duchu budeme pokračovat i nadále. LEX Association was founded in 1998. Its capital and ongoing task is to defend the interests of the holders of all legal weapons, even those who own guns of all kinds, whether for his defense, sport, hunting, enter a profession or employment, or for collection purposes.

Our association since its inception many times proved that it can defend these interests. Very significantly, we participated in the preparation of the new Law on Weapons and Ammunition, their balance is one of the best in Europe.

Gradually we began to meet other goals of our association, in particular awareness, education, sports activities, and last but not least, education gun owners to behave responsibly and safe handling of the weapons.

After the Czech Republic joined the European Union, we became members of a large European family. However, it is necessary to closely guard their rights and in this big space where they could easily lead to the curtailment in the name of some kind of illusory higher interests. Therefore, we work with organizations with the same or similar focus across Europe. Only joint action of these organizations can be assured of a good citizen the right to gun ownership.

Currently, we work closely with Slovak Legis body and we have established informal contacts with the Austrian and British Iwo The Sportsman's Association.

LEX Association worked throughout its history so as to achieve the best results in the field of interest of its members and the general public. In this spirit, we will continue.
