ActionCam990

I like this app. It does need some improvement, but that goes for most any app. Once they get some feedback and work out the bugs, it will be a great alternative to gopro. I have an HTC EVO 3D which is a few years old and not as large a screen as the newer phones, but it connects just fine, and works at least 30ft away. Hope they put in the landscape feature soon and some sort of connection status that indicates that the camera is still connected. I would also like to see a camera battery status icon as well. Thanks.

App is crude. It will not go landscape so I'm stuck with a tiny wide screen bar of the image in the middle of my display. When I try to load videos off it, the first time it worked albeit slowly, when I got more videos, it would just crash. Pile of rubbish. Now to the camera: The 30fps 1080p mode is passable. 960p, 720p modes are UPSCALED with terrible lack of detail and the image is clearly over sharpened which results in horrible jagged lines. Camera colour balance is wrong and it's terrible in low light

Its unstable, it lags, pls pls fix it. Tha camera itself is not user interface friendly, at least let the app be it.

I saw the RD990 apps for ios and it moves so good, why u cant make good one for android too

Android Rd990 user How to transfer direct to phone. 1. Download "actioncam990" 2. Then, download "file comender" After you snap, go to gallery picture in your apps "actioncam990" then download your picture. YOU must download "filecommander" they will auto save into your 'download file' in "filecomender". 3. Make sure you sdcard/micro card in class 10 version.

Should do an upgrade or fix some of the problems for the apps in android..hope the apps owner do take note..tq :)

i cannot locate the photos after downloading via wifi on my ipad. pls pls pls help.

Great video quality. But videos are taking an age to load. They buffer for a lifetime. And cant seem to play them all the time. "something went wrong" or "close other video before playing this one". There is no other video!! Also won't upload videos to Facebook. Just "processes" for hours and does nothing. There is a reason GoPro charge the amount they do. They have a product that has zero competition and therefore can sting us for our cash. And we humiliate ourselves by buying cheap chinese knock-offs!!

Taking few shots still photo but its not updating in result the apps can't read the current file but instead displays the olderst file that having the same filename.

please provide save button to phone after we downloading the picture or video. overall the apps was great but always lack on my note 1 but its smooth on my xperia s..
