This application was made by a Zippo collector for Zippo collectors. By going through simple menus you can easily date your Zippo from 1955 onward. There is lot of data freely available on the Internet but never before such info has been presented in a form of application. Also, its form makes it easy to determine year (and in newer instances a month) of a Zippo lighter on a small screen of a mobile phone or a tablet. This is not official Zippo application, nor made by Zippo Manufacturing Company or any of its subsidiaries. It is independently designed and developed by its author.

You guys can estimate dates before 1955 based off of number of barrels on hinge, chimney holes and patent numbers on bottom. Won't be an exact month/date but would make this app more complete. At the VERY least it would give a approximate year range. Please implement this. Please? Lol.

November 2010 2 years exactly before i bought it. Nice app. More accurate than the online reference on zippo site that only gives the year. Wish i was rich enough to buy a lot of zippos and have a collection as I love these.
