DAVE – Dresden Audio Visual Experience – ist das Festival für Clubkultur in Dresden.
Parallel zu den weltbekannten, touristischen Attraktionen und vielleicht ein wenig ausgetretenen Pfaden spielt die Clubkultur und alles was sich um sie gruppiert, eine wichtige Rolle für das Selbstbild einer Stadt. Diese Identitätsstiftung findet nicht nur in Bars und auf Tanzflächen sondern auch auf alternativen Bühnen, in Bastelkellern, Tonstudios und natürlich auf der Straße in unserer täglichen Lebenswirklichkeit statt. Unter diesem Motto haben sich in Dresden lebende Musiker und Produzenten Orte ausgesucht, die sie auf ihre jeweils eigene Art und Weise interpretierten und vertonten. Mit dieser App möchten wir alle Festival- und Stadtbesucher vor Ort auf eine akustische Entdeckungsreise durch den öffentlichen Raum einladen. Parallel to the world famous tourist attractions and perhaps a little beaten track plays the club culture and everything is grouped around them, an important role for the self-image of a city. This identity formation takes place not only in bars and dance floors but also on alternative platforms, in crafting cellars, recording studios and, of course, on the road in our daily life reality. Under this motto, living in Dresden musicians and producers have chosen places that they interpreted of their own individual way and set to music. With this app, we want to invite all the festival and city visitors on an acoustic journey through the public space on site.
