Next Notification

Please add support for various messaging apps, which are not yet supported by this notifier, and please it would be great if user can select its own application to be notified... and also, it sometimes doesn't work at all... Please Do Fix This Issue In Your Next Update...

This plugin for Next launcher does not work (Galaxy Note 4) for any apps part from SMS, which displays an incorrect count. The lack of notifications severely cripples the Next Launcher The lack of recent updates to Next would seem to indicate that the Launcher has been abandoned?

The launcher is brillant.even want to buy the pro but if this isn't going to work its useless .. Is there any way to get a update for us please ?

Why have to sownload all these next widgets after having downloaded next launcher full version? Why can't all these be included on the paid full version? Just a waste of space and too many uneccessary icons on our phones.

I thought originally that it wasn't working on Lollipop Android 5.0 after I upgraded from 4.4, but all you have to do is in preferences/Advanced/Notification put a tick/check after each app you want notifications from. At first it looked like they were all selected, but when you click on an app a check appears on the right. All working great now.

I have an S6...The app does not work with Samsung native email. BBM does notify as well. I click on icon for notifier and nothing happens except a quick flash. Next 3D is great but need the notifier to work to make is effective. I hope they will respond to my email.

I DID want this app, but after reading SO many terrible reviews, I thought to check the last update the dev's made. TURNS OUT LAST UPDATE WAS IN JULY OF 2014! So, if ur gonna have an app on the market,...KEEP IT UPDATED!!! This isn't the first time you've done this, dev's.

Loved this on my Galaxy S5 but when I upgraded to the Note5 it won't install. Sent them an email over a week ago but they won't even acknowledge me. I see the error 505 has been out there for months so can only assume this has been abandoned.

Notifications don't work. Nothing on calls, text and email has 2 unread notifications on it....but there are no unread messages. Wortless crap app addon!!!

It did work on my Galaxy S5 and that had Lollipop. But it does not work with my Galaxy S7 Edge on Marshmallow. I hope a fix comes out soon!

It works fine for Gmail (not surprised) and other apps except email i just don't understand why launchers have this problem except buzz launcher. Anyway I use this as my main email and point of contact but I don't like how it disables important features like air view, multi window, smart features etc which I do use all the time. Please fix this!

Doesn't work on my galaxy v.. please fix it.. next launcher become a trash launcher without working notification.. waste my money..

Really loved the next launcher. But the fact I can't see unread text and email count really makes me think about going back to stock launcher

Will not even open on galaxy 6s, does not work just like all there apps.

Doesn't work on marshmallow which is a real shame, should be integrated into the launcher. It's amazing that people have been complaining this doesn't work for years and yet it still hasn't been fixed.

All you guys saying is not working need to go into your accessibility settings and turn on next notifications, then go to preferences settings on next launcher and click which apps you want it to work with. Idiots. Note 4

I love the launcher and am very impressed but the next notification keeps getting turned of in 'accessibility' in lollipop? Any fix or reasons?

...you go to advanced menu of the Next launcher and check and save the notifications desired, also check that notfications is listed as turned on.

Doesn't work properly, it's a hindrance. Same issues (yes they are many) with every app, I'll list a few: it keeps counting even when you're actually using the app (i.e.: Calls, WhatsApp messages, sms, e-mails, Facebook, Twitter, Viber. Telegram etc.); it only clears the counter if you open the app using the main icon, so if for example you open it from the locker notification or the pop-up notification the count stays the same; if you receive 2 messages from 2 different chats but you only read one message the count still reads as if you've just read all of them; if the app with a notification is inside a folder, that folder won't show a count; often numerous OLD notifications appear for no reason... If I knew that this would be an issue I wouldn't have bought Next Launcher 3D, what is the point in having the coolest, most complete and "customizeable" launcher around (my opinion) if there isn't something as simple as a counter that works normally? If you can't fix these problems it means you made me waste 10€. So thank you for that. P.s.: I encountered these aforementioned problems in all my smartphones, including a Nexus 4 and an LG G4

It shows the numbers alright, but it cannot remove them, if you check your messages by, for instance Messengers bubbles. Then the numbers just add up on the icons until they have also been pressed.

Just upgraded to 5.0 lollipop and it stopped working. Gives me a message that says can't install error code 505

Customer complaints are valid but insulting others is needless. I personally was quite aware that it must be enabled in accessibility under phone settings and then continue to Next Launcher settings to notifications choosing which apps you prefer to apply but unfortunately my default keeps overriding it even after manually changing this.

Next notification is ok! but not as good as TeslaUnread. The Next theme is right up there with Nova launcher but where Nova pips Next to the post is with add-ons like Teslaunread. I don’t understand why you can’t make it so it recognises Textra or chomp sms, or other email apps like type email.

I've had this app for more than a year now & it still doesn't mark the right amount of notifications per app. Never mind my request for adding more apps to support, fix the amounts first. I will delete it. I use a Galaxy S6

No count for Blue mail nor Aqua Mail email client and much more problems! Until it's fixed, I'm so, so, sorry I purchased this app. You can't even get support to respond and it's as if they don't care. This feels like a rip off.

It does what it is says it will do, I just can't figure out why this is not a built in feature of Next Launcher. Why do we have to download a seperate app to get the launcher to do what it should already do? 4 stars because it works, but should be integrated into Next Launcher.

Used to work fine until the last next launcher update, now it does not work

It never displayed any notifications. What's the solution?

I have a Samsung S3 mini, the notification works on missed calls and unread SMS. But although I have switched the notifications on for others e.g. Facebook and WhatsApp, the notifications doesn't work.

Does not work, nexus 5. Can the developers fix? There are several complaints on this matter..

Contacted Support. Will update my review if they get back to me. This seems like a very simple feature. I am not sure why this would not work.

Nexus 6 using 5.01 tried downloading a few times. Paid version of Next 3D. Will not show me notification numbers on any app. Too bad would have made Shell a real worthwhile experience.

All you need to do is turn it on in your setting. Then go in the preference and check off all the apps that you want to be notified by.
