Media Streamer for Android
Not bad for what it is... I bought mine a couple of years ago and it's ok, but fairly limited. I have MUCH better solution. Buy a portable router and get WiFi File Transfer on the Play Store and you will be able to easily transfer files between many different devices. I bought the TP Link Nano router for $30+ and it's almost exactly the same size as the Media Streamer. No more synch cables or buggy apps to transfer files. A very cost effective and workable alternative..
It's mostly functional however try to use certain tools within it fell and immediately cause it to crash upon each and every attempt to use the non non-functioning features
Will not stay connected and takes forever to download anything. Please fix.
Bought the 40$ streamer ... App just keeps crashing ... Brought 40$ streamer back
For an app designed to transfer information from an SD card to my phone or tablet, I have a hard time understanding why it needs my contact information, or any other permissions. Simply allow me to stream from one device to the other. It is quite simple Media Streamer. You get one star until you can stop invading people's privacy.
It doesn't work flawlessly, 100% of the time, but it works well and it also helps me downloadupload files. The device also helps me charge my other devices. I am able to listen to music and watch movies from my flash drives. This app works. And works with other apps. I am not sure what id do without it.
Works great for me on my galaxy tab 4, tab a, s6 and on my pc, does exactly what it says it will do, battery life is great and it's easy to use, I don't understand all the negative reviews. Awesome product as far as I am concerned

Do you just not support the A2 anymore? None of your apps work with it, all i can do is connect through a web browser. Doesnt stream at all, isnt that what this thing is supposed to do? Wish i could return it...
Took a bit but I can transfer EVERYTHING (movies, music, pictures, documents, you name it!!) for one phone to another phone or tablet and visa versa.
Wont play ANY Video playback! And its only AVI.

Says "storage device not detected"... even though my phone (htc evo) and tablet (galaxy tab pro) have been connected.
Works OK upload folder would be nice not just one file at a time
Some support would be nice.. Update please
i have A 64bg sandisk sd card and a 750gb toshiba hard drive connected via usb both works well i tried with movies .avi .mp4 .mkv all with no hiccup on my oneplus phone. tried .mp3 and .jpeg files...again works fine...i even tried it with two phones steaming movies and streaming various files at the same time....works fine..
The device keeps dropping/disabling its Wi-Fi connection during file transfer, and it is fully charged. Not to mention you cannot change the SSID nor password.
Going back today, kept shutting down using samsung galaxy note 10.1. Looking for something to Trans pics from sd card. This is not it

For the price this little marvel has done everything it said it would do.
Great app and device, but it needs support to be able to download folders from my flash drive or SD card, other than that works fine.
I can transfer any file watch movies , now I don't need a PC anymore when I hook a ssd to it . can't ask for better

Its very good
Cuts in and out of connection
This thing sucks..complete waste of time. Constantly dropping the wifi connection. Please fix
Git a few glitches but a great device and idea when it works.
Movie watching a total drag! Connection so iffy!
not good fix it.
Crap
As I said, I love the device itself and the concept is exactly what I need for accessing my music at work since I have limited storage on my Moto G. Unfortunately I have to give this app a 1 star review because it completely hindered what otherwise may have been a good experience. When I stream music in shuffle mode, if I lock my screen, get a notification or unlock my screen to change songs, it will either start playing from the first song again, or just crash the app entirely. Please fix this.
WPA, no. Not on mine. I'm paired with my android 4.3 (Samsung Galexy S5) and my android 3.2.1 (Toshiba Thrive). It doesn't let me change the name OR password. I'm stuck with default. I get a message saying "Please enter a valid SSID or password!" And, I would love to know what one of those is because I've tried everything I can think to do. Changed one number in the default pass word to another number, nope. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, can't think of what, but until that's fixed you get 1 star (would be 3, but no one seems to get any support around here, so WAKE UP!). *Edit* You still get one star because the app is junk that will be uninstalled; however, I fixed the problem by not using the app. If one looks at the instruction manual, one discovers that the device can be managed from a web brouser by going to the I.P. 192.168.1.2 and that works quite effectively.

I have not tested this application itself, but rather the device. I used 192.168.1.2 in my phone's web browser once connected to it's wifi and easily changed settings like ssid/password other reviewers had trouble with. It has a mostly user friendly interface when accessed there, though it might not do certain things. Not a bad machine considering I paid 15 bucks for it at Walmart, feels well built too.
