Hide messages in pictures for your friends and others to find! Hide A Message will encode messages in any picture which is in any format without changing how the picture looks. Just choose a photo from your gallery and type your message into the app and it will hide it.

* Hide A Message Only works with images less than about 4 megapixels in resolution due to low memory issues on mobile devices and tablets.
* Before uploading encoded photos on Facebook and other social media websites, please make sure to do it in "High Quality" mode so that the image does not get compressed!

How does Hide A Message hide text in images?
->Hide A Message modifies the pixels of an image to store data. Each pixel used for storing data is changed only by about 0.4%, which means that the change is completely unnoticeable by the human eye.

Is data stored as plaintext at the end of the image file?
->Only the pixels of the image are slightly modified, so no data is stored as plaintext.

How is Hide A Message useful?
->If data is stored in an image using this app, then this app is the only means of discovering the presence of any kind of data in that image file. If the image file is passed on to another person (for example through a social media website), no one apart from the sender and the intended recipient suspects the existence of the message.
