What are users saying about Denver Comic Con

It crashes every time I try to even access it!

D70%
by D####:

It's great for organizing what events and panels you want to see so there's no second guessing!

G70%
by G####:

It won't start. It keeps crashing upon opening.

D70%
by D####:

Kept crashing aftet initial install.

D70%
by D####:

Won't open, crashes continually. When it does open no data. :-(

D70%
by D####:

Worked fine at first now it won't even open.

T70%
by T####:

It won't even open.

D70%
by D####:

Works great for planning

D70%
by D####:

Twice today the app crashed and removed all schedules and guest lists. Maps do not work and they didn't even bother to link panels and such to map. Why give the option to show on map if you're not even going to link it.

D70%
by D####:

It's a a good app but kinda a bad design. I feel like they could've made it better.☺

D70%
by D####:

Worked at first then got an update and now the app won't even open without crashing

V70%
by V####:

The app was working fine before the con, I had my schedule loaded and everything, but once I got to the con and opened the app, everything was gone and the guide wouldn't load for me (even outside, away from the convention center). Guidebook was much better.

V70%
by V####:

Constantly crashing and when it isnt it has connectivity issues and the schedules were kept online instead of offline making it almost useless.

D70%
by D####:

This app works swimmingly on my Galaxy S7. Had zero connectivity issues at the con. I just wish there was a little more info on some of the guests. I like this app!

G70%
by G####:

Sad that it's con weekend and I can't even get the app to open. Please go back to using Guidebook!

D70%
by D####:

It really wasn't that bad, it really helped plan out our schedule for the weekend. It occasionally crashed on my boyfriends phone but worked perfectly on mine Moto. It was really nice to be able to scroll through the panels and add them to my own list.

D70%
by D####:

Was ok, but started crashing constantly. Completely useless during the con.

D70%
by D####:

Worked off and on during the con. Needs to have an option to search guests by name instead of having to scroll all the way through the guests in order to find their panels and photo ops.

D70%
by D####:

App opened first time but with no data loaded. When I hit "reload data" the app crashes and when reopening the app just hangs on the splash screen. I have to reboot my phone to get the app to load again, but still no data...

J70%
by J####:

Update caused even more crashed and required force restarts. They should never have made an app that requires an active data connect for this con.

Z70%
by Z####:

Obviously this app doesn't work for a lot of people but it worked perfectly on my Galaxy S6 and it really helped me plan and navigate.

D70%
by D####:

Doesn't work at all, use the paper guide. Wow bad

D70%
by D####:

It worked onky rarely during the convention. Best feedback I heard: you need to be able to download the schedule and have an optional refresh instead of having to load the schedule every time you open it.

D70%
by D####:

Second year in a row this app sucks! Even if you could get signal at the event center, the app tells you nothing. The only map the app has is of the outside. You think maybe a map of the inside would help?

C70%
by C####:

App crashes frequently. No maps other than entrances was available.

D70%
by D####:

I haven't even used this app as of yet, but I know it's just awful! You guys are terrible developers and should quit your day job to work construction or work at McDonald's.

V70%
by V####:

It worked well on my note 5. If it weren't for this I wouldnt have gotten an autograph from my favorite manga artist!!

Not even sure this is an improvement from the "Pop Culture Classroom" app they had prior. At least the previous application would show the information somewhat consistently, even if it took eons to load every page because the app didn't seem to cache anything; and it spammed unwanted notifications all day. This app looks great and is a big improvement ui-wise. Which would be fantastic if it would consistently show anything. At least on my device (a little dated, maybe), each time you leave the app for anything you come back to find that it either crashes completely or shows zero database content. What's the point of a schedule that cannot show a schedule 50%+ of the time? Know what schedule app I don't think I've had a problem with? Guidebook. If you're going to try and re-invent the wheel, maybe make sure it can handle the load.

X70%
by X####:

Like last year, this app crashes like crazy. No offline functionality either, which given the service at con is... questionable. We'll see how it works this weekend.

H70%
by H####:

Like everyone else says, it doesn't talk about the vendors, and I really thought the app would let me have easy access to that info. The con is tomorrow and I don't have the information I want!!

D70%
by D####:

Okay, but would be better if it didn't crash every few views and then is unable to show the schedule because it's using filters on the schedule that I never set up. You have to do a 'force stop' to get it working again.

S70%
by S####:

So disappointed in this year's app compared to last year's app. It crashes on me for one thing, and my phone should be able to handle it. Twice I entered my schedule and every time I go back into the app, my schedule has been completely erased. Also, it would be nice if it was set up in more of a grid fashion or with some sort of color brakes so that we can see what events are overlapping other events on our schedules. Also, it would be nice if there was some sort of social networking aspect to the app like there was last time. Connecting through Facebook, Twitter, Etc. Looks like we're going with paper unless this is fixed.

H70%
by H####:

Won't show anything and keeps crashing right away

C70%
by C####:

It likes to crash when I try to open it, map doesn't seem to be linked up yet, guests don't have sections either. If it will open, I'm sure it'll be useful but I'm going to make a spreadsheet just in case.

E70%
by E####:

It allowed me to plan everything once without it closing then when I tried opening it again it would not show me anything happening I tried re installing it it did not work

D70%
by D####:

Like others, won't open, just crashes. Look forward to not being able to use this next week.

D70%
by D####:

Crashes every time I try to open it. Sad. Because it seems like it would have been very helpful this weekend.

B70%
by B####:

Seems functional as of right now. It would be nice to see conflicting panel times on one's schedule to allow prioritizing in scheduling.

Z70%
by Z####:

Three days before the con and there is almost no information about vendors. Maps of the venue have not been posted. I would have thought this app would have been prepared better. I did see that the entrance map has been posted.

J70%
by J####:

Crashes on launch. Hopefully not an indicator of DCC preparations overall
