GrowIt!

I was really excited to try this app since I am just getting into gardening. There's no info on anything in my area.. No soil info, fertilizer, nothing.. No use in keeping this and wasting my memory space. Would consider redownloading if they updated everything and had a lot more info on it to help people like me just starting out who could use that extra knowledge on how to have a successful garden including flowers and produce!

This app is GREAT!!!! So much fun and easy to use. You get to share with fellow plant lovers and get some really great ideas too!

I was excited about this update but I still can't have my plants on a Watering schedule.

I've only started using this app a couple days ago. So far it seems to be ok.

GREAT APP!!!!

I love this app. Have had a blast seeing what people are growing not only in my area but all around the country. I agree with some of the other posts that it would be nice to be able to interact with other gardeners in a more real time format than posting on their pictures. Also would like some way to mark a picture when someone requests assistance with identifying a plant. Too often there are multiple plants in the picture and no way to know which plant is unidentified.

I love almost everything about this app. however, I haven't been able to figure out how to explore what the different grow levels mean and what I can do to work towards increasing them. This problem could be my user error though. Great app. for anyone that loves plants!

I like sharing pictures and reviewing the pictures of other Gardners, and I especially like trying to help ID unknown plants. I wish the "sort" function was a little more intuitive, but so far I am liking it and haven't run into any bugs. I hope, as time goes on and I build my community, I will like it even more

Like half the users, I couldn't get past the sign up screen. I'm not the kind of person who wants to keep fighting an app when a well-designed one would at least let people sign up without a nerve-wracking hassle. I'm uninstalling it now.

Great app to show off your own plants and take a look at those nearby! You can also learn a thing or two by helping to identify plants or have your own mystery plants identified.

As a Garden Center in Minnesota we highly recommend this app. We have tried it out, tested it and this is the app for gardeners no matter were you live. From indoor to outdoor, this is the one to use. You can reach out to other gardeners for help and advise, simply a must have!!

This app was not user friendly. Tried several times to load pictures or start a project. Never could get it to work, so frustrated I am going to unistall this app. Needs lots of improvement.

I really enjoy seeing what others are growing around me. It really helps me with ideas for my spring garden!

I was so excited about this app, but I can't get past the login screen and then it keeps crashing. So what's the point of having it take up space on my phone? Let me know when you fix it and I'll reinstall it.

Edit: ball horticultural responds quickly to issues! Thanks so much! Nice that other people can help you figure out what plants you have. Also love that it works so locally so you won't have suggestions that won't grow in your garden.

I was really excited about this app but I think the concept needs to be further developed because the idea contains vast potential but the execution is extremely lacking. Would really like to see suggestions for activities, projects, people to follow, etc..

I love this app. I wish you could message people tho. The only way to communicate with someone is to comment on a picture. I would appreciate you looking into making this app slightly more sociable. Thank you. I would love to be able to connect with plant junkies in my area. Haha! Thank you.

My only negative is that I posted a picture entitled Grandma's Double Red Geranium then asked for help identifying which one. I've never seen one like it and hoped someone knew which one it was. Because the title does not show on the, "What is it" page, several people identified it as a geranium. Duh!

I would love this app but i cannot see anything in my area. It wont let me select no area and just see everywhere. Im planting indoors so i figured most indoor plants can be grown anywhere.

I use this app everyday! Not only is it very useful when ur trying to find new plants, or find information on certain plants, but I love being able to talk and share ideas with other gardners, and to be able to share pictures of all my plants.

But I would like to have a progression option to show how strong they are growing from such little seeds

Great, flexible database with enough active users to always find out what plants you have. It would be very nice to have a feature that allows you to see if you have identified a photo before opening the photo. Otherwise great app.

Figuring out what kind of plants are prolific in my area has never been easier. Thanks to Growit!

This app is a good reference and way to keep all the plants in your garden along with quick facts on most plants. Although I've found several plants that aren't listed, they are growing that list. I do have some issues with it freezing occasionally and there is no FAQ that i could find on the app or website.

All i need for a greenery app. Let's me track all of my plants and gives baaic to detailed info on each species. It doesnt have every plant but has a submit option. Overall it works for getting info on plants and having a green focused community outside of typical social medias. I just wish it would let me tie multiple pics of same plant together so u can see the history of it

It is fun to log on and identify plants. I see a few that are mislabeled and I wish there was a button to 'challenge' the identity of the picture. I would love to see this app grow in popularity as it could be a very useful tool to new gardeners (and a fun activity for existing gardeners!).

At first I thought this was just a fun, mostly social app where you look at everyone's pretty pictures. What I've found is not only a great community of gardeners happy to share info and advice, but the app also allows you to create a virtual catalog of your garden. Truly invaluable when you're staring at a plant yet again saying "what the heck ARE you?"

I am rookie gardener for sure. I'm looking to build my first garden box and will need help no doubt. The only reason I am downloading this app is due to the support I saw in the reviews. It looks like they will continually improve so I'll get on board now and travel through any possible bumps knowing it will get better.
