Mr Fothergills Planting Guide for Android
Every time I press bok choi it force closes
Wish it worked..it looks promising.. n o way of adding... i this this app needs some updates
There is no icon/button to add a plant to favourites. Please fix
How about asking gardener's what they want in an app. This one could be so much better if it provided the info in a number of ways rather than just a plain list. Redo it!
Every time I press bok choi it force closes
I try to report the problem but it goes back to the main menu without letting me send feedback. Could be a good app if I could actually use these features...
I think its a handy little app but i wish you could manage your garden on it too. Like what you have currently growing, when it was planted to when it should be harvested, fertilizing reminders etc... yes theres one on pc/mac but its all about managing things on your smartphone now.
Wow i am impressed with this app being a full time gardener verry usefull i have been looking for an app just like this for a while now spot on love it
Just started using it - looks good
Pretty good. Would be nice if you could sort plants by sow dates, harvest date etc. Also crashes when viewing coriander.
I'm having trouble viewing the month of june - it's just a blank column on the edge of the screen. Looks like it could be a useful app otherwise.

This app is not for me. It did not have what I wanted and I didn't find the format or information useful or logical. I'm looking for an app that gives calendar reminders and info. This app was clunky, had wrong information (select capsicum and page would talk about carrots), and the info was based on what the plant is good for (high vitamin C, etc) nothing about how to grow or harvest etc. The calendar on when to plant is useful, but very general. When entering the plant types you will be asked for very specific plant variety information, this made it very hard as I'm only an amateur and have no idea which variety my generalised Bunnings seedling are. When I buy a carrot seedling I buy a baby carrot or a big carrot variety, not a "sweet summer purple" or a "venician glaze". I have no idea which specific fothergills variety my general variety would be similar to, so therefore the info is completely useless. So when you are given very general planting/ harvesting info and then asked very specific variety info, it doesn't seem to quite fit. I would say the specific info may be good for somebody who's done a horticultural degree, but then they would already know when the best general planting/harvesting times would be...???
