No longer do you need to log into your modem or turn on your computer to see how much data you have remaining. Simply open the "Bandwidth Status Meter" app to see the amount of data you have remaining on your HughesNet ISP account from your phone. With this app you can see:
- Amount of data you have remaining
- If you are throttled or not
- How much time you have remaining before your Free Zone starts/ends
**NOTE: This is a BETA app and is being published to test current features of the app. New features will be added to the app as they become available. If you find any bugs or would like to request a feature for possible inclusion in future releases of the app you may do so in the app by clicking on menu button and then on "Submit Bug / Feature Request". This will take you to a on-line web form.
**KNOWN ISSUES**
- In some instances, the amount of time left until period change is incorrect. The issue is being addressed and should be resolved in the next release.

Been waiting for this a long time... it does work a bit but needs to be updated to accounts that have 10gigs or more, this app is set @ the 500Mb accounts, and also the new systems have a anytime status meter at night. Get these features added and ill give 5 stars

I never have anything to say bad about apps. But this one does nothing at all!! Useless! All it says is throttle error.? What is that Huges net doesn't even know what it is!!! thank God I didn't buy this!! Sorry to say such an ugly thing I'm sure you worked hard on making this app.I wouldn't have a clue on how to make one. An I wouldn't have said anything but u keep asking me to rate it

Even using the suggested Alternitive method, all it gives is errors. Even manually keying in the specific IP address of the Hughesnet modem, just errors. Bummer, I would even be willing to pay for an app that actually accurately displayed the stats of my Hughesnet service. Keep trying, you might get there.

Doesn't get past startup screen on Motorola Turbo. But guess I'm not alone finding app doesn't work from other comments. Too bad as greatly needed as Hughes Net has nothing like it for non-pc/Mac Internet devices!
