This is a great app. One thing I would suggest to do is - when you can't find it and log it as a Not found to make that find as a sad face and maybe change the color instead of leaving it as nothing. That way when. You search your map again it would be easily identified. Thank you.

Another company more than happy to take your money and then stop supporting the app. Groundspeak created a new app and stopped updating this one. Renamed it classic to move forward with a new business model and created a new app to make sure those that previously paid would have to switch over. Great support. Love that this keeps happening Google. Really makes me want to buy more apps *sarcasm.

Paid $10 for the app less than a year ago to have it go obsolete and replaced by a free app. I can't help but feel cheated out of my money here. I'm already a premium member of the website and have been for 3 years so that functionality had no reflection on my review. Love geocaching and will continue to do so but feel like I was robbed of my money.

I paid for this app... They are happy to take your money but then stop doing maintenance on it and they're putting all their time into the free one? It's complete rubbish I can't do anything with this. Why can't they make it so people who bought this app can have access to the same caches on the free app. Money grabbers. I'm so annoyed with this app

Pay $10 for an app 3 months ago and now they stop supporting it. I feel so robbed. They also denied me a refund. I'm never buying anything from Groundspeak ever again.

I feel like if we PAID money to get an app, we should be able to still use the features. How are students supposed to afford premium memberships... We still did pay for this bl**dy app. I never had any problems when I 1st got it a few years ago, so why all the issues now????

This app, which had been neglected by groundspeak is 100x better than the other app that they have turned into garbage. I only wish I could load more caches at a time. If it did that, 5 stars from me!.... not that groundspeak listens to any of us.

I love this app and i'm NOT happy that theyre ending support for it as of September. I understand thst premium accounts psy to keep the site running, but restricting the app to so few options for basic members still really sucks.

This is a really good app for basic members for geocaching, and you'd better get it while it's still available. This old app isn't without its flaws, but for a one-time fee it allows you as a basic member to enjoy the game. The new "free" app is only useful if you are a premium member; if you're a basic member it is just about worthless because the vast majority of good caches are restricted to premium members, a lot of which is available to all members on the website.

I keep downloading this version of the app even though it is unsupported. This is so much easier to use than the new improved version which I hate with a passion. It even seems to be more accurate than the new version. Please bring this back. The new app may look more modern but it's horrible.

Bought this app for the full account, now it's worthless. I hope you all had a good holiday with all of our money.

I love this app, and I recommended it to everybody I taught geocaching (quite a lot of people) but I'm very disappointed that I'll have to switch to the new app where I will only have access to easy geocaches. I'm very unhappy that I no longer have access to all the geocaches. I guess I'll have to start using a GPS instead. This app was worth the $10 just to be able to have access to every level of difficulty and terrain.

This has much more functionality then the new app. Additionally, the caches that are over 1.5* are available where as on the moneygrab, sorry, new Geocaching® app, you have to pay for them. Rethink this groundspeak. NOT a good idea.

So since I paid for this app with google. I loaded enough google money on account. Waste of time and money. Now cant use google to actually get the premium account. Really stupid if u can do it for the one part should be able to upgrade that way too. Should load more caches at one time and load as map is moved like the intro version.

Paid for this app, but now there's a new one and this isn't it. The new one looks like garbage. This one won't connect to the servers anymore. Good job kicking your fans in the teeth.

finally got rid of the silly compass calibration (that didn't work in the first place). They even made navigation clearer. (But most of the UI is still silly.) It still needs to be able to export (in bulk) to a GPX file. (Interfacing to my GPSr would be awesome.) The search engine could be a little speedier in figuring out that there's insufficient network coverage. But contrary to their hype, it's anything but all grown up. Without a distance scale and road names, the map is fairly useless. With GPX Viewer being available on Android, there's no reason to use this app's clumsy GPX file loader. Note to another poster: You're doing real good if you're getting 13 feet accuracy.

This app is wayyyy better than the " New App". I am not crazy about the Newer app. This one is easy to use I have been caching for almost 5 yrs now and this is By far the BEST APP for your phone! The Cords are always accurate. Its fast and Always up-to-date! This getting 5 stars from me!

Was OK, but now is taking forever to load (sometimes doesn't even) the map, TB or anything on the app. Not sure if it's just the s7 or not.

The map layout is hard to use and I keep having to add the cache's in my area, they should already be there, also cannot access messages

Don't buy this. Groundspeak does not update this anymore. They are only changing its name and logo once in a while for no reason.

Good on ya. This one also lets you see all the caches not just the freemium ones.

This app is no longer able to connect to the GC server on my new galaxy s7. Forced to use the new, less than ideal app.

I like all the functions and ability to save offline lists, drop/log trackables and many more things I like about it. By far the best one out there.

This app has "filter" with new app charges for, so yeah, I'm sticking with this one

Why pay for this app when they're abandoning it for a free app. Money down drain.

Paid version should upgrade when deprecated instead of just failing. An OK app when it worked.

Geocaching is my favorite hobbie it brings me places ive never been before. Some geocaches hard to find some are easy to find. And its always fun to look for them.

The map is blank. Just showing the caches not the streets or terrain etc

Paid for the app, and now it won't search locations or anything. It just says we couldn't find that location, but if you go to the map, it shows there are caches in the area you just tried to search. Please help!

I use this app everyday! Geocaching is so much fun for all ages! Don't have to pay a dime if you want to play too!!

Not a bad app once you get it to find you with gps. I'm digging it now.

On the intro app I clicked 'Upgrade to Premium' thinking it would just unlock the extra caches. Instead, it added this app and it still shows me as a basic member. This app doesn't have messages like the intro app and doesn't have the bell go off when you are close. Why 2 different apps for the same idea?
