Before installing the app
1. Download the DroidJoy Server software from http://grill2010.github.io/droidJoy.html#download
2. Install and start the Server on your PC (If you have any problems contact me at anytime)
3. Be sure that your smartphone is in the same network as your PC. If you want to use Bluetooth be sure that your PC is set to discoverable.
4. Start the DroidJoy app. Navigate to the "Connect" window and click "Search server". DroidJoy should now discover the Server automatically.
If you have any problems with the installation of the server, please contact me first before you will give a bad rating. I'm sure that I can help you.
Description
DroidJoy turns your Android smartphone in a real gamepad device for your Windows PC. It offers a huge amount of controller configurations, so that you can use it for multiple game genres. DroidJoy is not a simple keyboard mouse emulator, it is a real gamepad. The driver and the server are available for Windows XP and higher. Even 64 bit operating systems are supported. The server can handle up to 4 DroidJoy clients so that you can easily play multiplayer games with your friends by only using your smartphones.
All you need is the server software, which you can download from the official website:

If you receive some warnings from Windows or your Firewall, please don't worry.
The Server has been tested on Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. If you have any problems during the installation or with the connection, please contact me at f.grill160@gmail.com. I will try my best to help you with your problem.

- If you want to connect more than one controller with your PC, please configure amount of gamepads in the server application
Note: If your game doesn't recognize the virtual gamepad as input device, this could have several reasons. Some new games just support XBox360 gamepads and won't work with other gamepads like the DroidJoy virtual controller. If you want to play a game which only supports xBox360 gamepads you can try the x360ce tool. Note, there is no guarantee that the external x360ce application fully supports DroidJoy or any of your games. Please try the free demo version before installing the application.

Very much worth it's cost for the features just has a slight issue when intending use for sidescrollers as it stops holding down whichever button you're pushing down as a run button once you press your jump button with the same finger. For me, holding X to run jump with A, it stops pressing X altogether.

Getting used to customizing the buttons to the exact right size and place on my screen, but they respond perfectly. This is obviously the cheapest way to get a Customizable game pad for your computer, and it works great. No complaints at all. No reason to try any other, this is the one right here.

It's a great game controller for your PC. I used this to play with 5 people split screen in a game because I only had 3 USB ports. I'm not sure if this is a problem with Steam Big Picture or the app, but for some reason the controls are messed up in big picture (pressing b simulates a, X is b, etc)

Works as advertised. Wish list: 1. USB tether mode in addition to wireless; 2. as I use for flight sims, would like a throttle mode for one of the stick axes (i.e., stays put - doesn't return to center - when released); 3. ability to swap joystick outputs around to match standard RC transmitter arrangements; 4. a standard RC controller with a full complement of switches that can be assigned to the various output channels.

Not necessarily for gaming. Requests: Physical wired OTG or bluetooth gamepad input. Choice to output MIDI / OSC on the local PC. Run in the background so that TouchOSC, Lemur or remote desktop app can be run in the foreground . Or add OSC/MIDI controller features. Because MIDI/OSC allows software to interact.

Ok so I haven't had the time to test it Fully cause I didn't have x360ce but now I do and hopefully everything goes well and works has is and it's perfect for gaming(I did try it over Bluetooth but only for a few minutes and without x360ce soo..) I just need the skill to adjust to software touch controls and really thank you for making such app for those without a x360 controller like me for example :)

The app works exactly as described. Not only that, the developer contacted me within 10 minutes to help with a query. A little bit of common sense, and some basic Google searches, and it's installed and configured. Bad reviews are given by people who couldn't be bothered to put in a little time. This is essentially a plug and play install.
