About R10 Student Activities:
The IEEE Region 10, also sometimes referred as the Asia Pacific Region, comprises of 57 Sections, 6 Councils, 17 Sub-sections, 515 Chapters,60 Affinity Groups and 958 Student Branches. With a membership of 107,154, it is one of the largest regions in IEEE and certainly one among the most vibrant and diverse. R10 boasts of energetic, bustling and innovative student volunteers who tirelessly engage in activities to spread technology for the advancement of humanity.
Functionalities of the app :
Each IEEE member can register in the app which will be verified using the data from IEEE data base
Posts can be given to the newsfeeds in 3 levels, section, council and region which have to be approved by a respective admin before they can be published
The current admin can make another user admin if he/she applies for it and is deemed worthy
Provides a platform to present and address grievances of members
Gives you up to date news on conferences, paper presentations and other events happening around you
