Vinny - Used Car VIN Scanner

Works very good, so you know the value of the car, or truck, right away, but I would like to know more story of the vehicle.

Somebody knows please let me know

Always have enough information to go into a used car deal with confidence. This app is the key to having that info in your pocket before the car salesman even says hello.

I have my vehicles in and any other vehicle I want info on. It is strange that I can't seem to delete a vehicle

NOTE 3, ive tried scanning dozens of VINs on my lot and the app does nothing...if i manually enter them it works. The inability for the app to scan vins is a deal killer for me...

Can get any better than this! Very accurate, saves me from taking pics of vins.

Seems as if the suggested price is always a little high, and I am not sure of the nada kbb pricing. Maybe not zip code specific. Does a good job scanning and when it doesn't, manual entry works well. I use this app at auction when shopping vehicles for resale.

My job is to write up scrap cars as they come in to the place that I work, and when all the emblems are removed from the vehicle before they come in it makes it hard to figure out what the vehicle is. With Vinny, I'm able to scan the VIN and give a definite answer as to the specific model of the vehicle. This is great!

Some cars and trucks are not included and details are not available. Need more information

I DON'T recommend this app! I tried this app to find out vehicle history and received the bare minimum, none of which was useful. It cost me $5 to find out information that was already known and obvious. Waste of time and money. Kelly Blue Book and Carfax are much better options to get what you're looking for.

Very accurate decoding the vin #. Year, make, and model. (95%+) The specifications are lacking. Engine specs, and drivetrain are usually incorrect. The 8th digit in the vin denotes the engine. So that data should be shown. Values, however is inconsistent. 50% of the time it shows the values, where the rest of the time, no values are given.

I've been looking for exactly what this is for years, until now, the dealers had us by the tail, now the consumer has a true edge, unlike kbb or others that have separate values depending on if it's being sold privately, traded in, etc. .. I feel this is more accurate to real world values. Many people state these values aren't accurate but fail to understand wholesale may be cheaper to buy, yet also generally yield a higher return for trades over a blue book value. Good job guys, keep up the good work.

I've tried this app on 6 cars now and none are in the database...

I cross checked pricing with Kelly BB. For the few vehicles I checked, Vinny's pricing data is thousands of dollars off. If you need reasonable price info then Kelly BB is the way to go. Or take the time and go online and research it yourself. You can at least get a good Idea for asking prices.

Not completely convinced on the value ascribed to the vehicles, but certainly love the convenience of it and the storage in the garage aspect of it.

Hard to focus and didn't recognize either of my vehicles. Time to uninstall.

Please fix this..... it does not work on all cars. It will say no information.

Pretty close as far a blue book value, wish the mileage could be higher than 150,000 miles

But the prices are off at least for my area Florida...there low balling it

Gives me quick info on autos with wholesale & retail price comparisons in an instant.

This is the only app I have found that u don't need to pay anything or need a dealer login

It helps a lot checking prices with conditions, miles and everything

My weapon of choice when engaging a used car salesman in combat.

Will not scan. Will download another scan app to see if this helps.

No vin is valid for this app, just a waste of space on my tablet
