The Pocket Percussion Teacher for Android
First, the PROs: - Great content: good exercises, relevant patterns/grids/rudiments, some cool "jams" with sheet music, etc. - Multiple tempos available - Live (?) recordings to play-along with Now, the CONs: - Graphics/Text are low-res and don't scale up to tablet size nicely. - Recordings are very quiet - Updating is weird, it's forced when you open the app and I had to open and download updates like 12 times before I ever got into the actual program - need a bypass or don't force when starting or something. I still don't think I have all the content downloaded. Very confusing. - Overall interface is a bit confusing Summary: You'll need patience to get the most out of this app. The developer has a solid idea, but the implementation and interface need a lot of polishing.
It wasted my time updating everything...then, almost every exercise wouldn't load the sound file or the entire exercise itself....
I don't know how you get all the rudiments. that's all I really car about.
This app work's great on the Sprint HTC One, only bad thing is the volume is still really low considering this is one of the loudest phone's on the market.
Don't waste your money, the greatest load of crap ever.
get it!
So awesome
Awesome!
Love this app! The Ralph and Tapspace stuff is off the chain! Can't wait for the drumset stuff! Thanks for bringing this to Android
Coming from Blake D. This is the most comprehensive percussion app out there. Way to go.
Nothing on this app is working for me. Try to update and it doesn't, try to open drum set modules and nothing happens. Uninstalled and then reinstalled and still have nothing. Cant believe i paid for this. Online reviews made it sound great. Very let down.
Good concept, horrible app. I want my money back.
