Ambit Connect (Trial) for Android
Does what it's supposed to; syncs data from my ambit to my Galaxy S7. Wish it could show maps...
Works perfectly for my older android phone as in sony Z1 compact
Finally able to save activities (only to Strava at this point it seems) whilst away from a computer - Ambit 2 has no Bluetooth, so if you don't upload regularly you can lose data. Movescount compatibility would be really nice, but I guess that depends on Movescount.
I've been looking for this for so long. Finally can sync my activities without having to carry a laptop as most people won't want to while on a trekking or climbing trip. This is how it is done, shame on you Suuntoo!
Why on the new update theres no upload to strava button?
Only reason I have a pc is to connect the ambit, thanks to this app, I don't need the pc anymore - brilliant
Hope it can connect to movescount directly. Nice work.
connect with movecount is better
Great app.. Very helpful and practical for ambit owners without a Bluetooth option or laptop especially when on a trip.. It works perfectly for running and riding uploads (GPS activities) .. But when I want to upload unspecified sport that doesn't exist in strava sports categories (and in my case not GPS activity) it says that upload failed..(this works on my laptop uploads though) Please try fix this.. Also, I really hope that the app will be and stay free for users.. Thank you!
Does what it is supposed to! Initially had an issue that it wouldn't upload swim activities to Strava, developer responded very quickly and produced an update to solve the issue. Excellent support provided and now works perfectly
Thank you, this works Perfectly(with the Sony Z4 tablet).
Does not recognize, crashes when watch icon is pressed
Was using version 1.01, worked perfectly during extended trekking in the mountains, while away from my computer. Thanks for this! Just downloaded the new version, will try it out.
So far it's done exactly what it's supposed to do; sync my Ambit move data with my Galaxy S7.
Bought a OTG cable. Tempered the excitement. Plugged it up. "Suunto Ambit3 Peak: Firmware is not supported." (I have the latest firmware as of this review date.) I tried two (2) firmwares: 2.2.1 and 2.4.1 Firmware upgrades made through Moveslink2. (Confirmed functionally of OTG adapter via OTG Host Diagnosis App and USB Host Diagnosis App.) After rejection by the App, the App crashes.
Phone detects watch and app auto-launches, but none of the "Use USB to" options allow it to detect the watch. Have used two different OTG adapters. Looking forward to using this on holiday - looks like a great app to have.
Works but takes a few times to get it to connect if app doesn't crash other than that it worked.

Does exactly what I want it to. Transfers data from my ambit2 to my phone and then to Strava.
