Great Clips Online Check-in

I checked in and said 8 minute wait time. Got to great clips 15 minutes later and name was not on the list. Showed them app on my phone and it was the right location. They then told me it would be over a 30 minute wait. I will never use great clips again.

Easy to use when i need a fast and cheap hair cut. However, remember that its a cheap hair cut. Ive had several instances where they missed spots or made mistakes. I only use great clips if im in a hurry, and need a fast clean up, never for a major hair cut. Wait times are also lretty low.

Used app to check local Great Clips. Wait time said 0 minutes. Checked in and proceeded to store which was 5 minutes away. When I got there screen said I was second in line (so much for 0 wait time) and there were 4 other people there. Since I was second in queue, I decided to wait. Well despite the screen saying I was 2nd in line, after waiting 30 minutes and taking 3 of the 4 other people before me, I decided to leave. I didn't wait to see if they also took the 4th. I have no problem waiting, but what is the purpose of this app if they give you false wait times and don't honor your check in time and place in queue? I left with the feeling that the app is just there to get you in the door and they then hope that you will stick it out and wait.

This app works great! There are times I'll check in, show up 5 minutes before I'm "scheduled" and others can walk in and have a 45- minute wait! It has never failed me. I don't understands why everyone DOESN'T use it!

I was on my way home from a 3 hour drive and needed a haircut but really didn't feel like it. I opened the ap and saw there was no wait and went and did it. This really came in handy today!

Nice to know the wait time. Used to have to just sit there until it's my turn. Now I have an app to tell me when they're ready :)

Extremely convenient. Too bad some of the stylists aren't as good as this app...but if you find the right stylist, get to know their schedule, then use this app before you go and you will have a hard time finding a better, more convenient, and quality experience (for this price point, of course...I am not comparing them to a luxury salon)

it would be 5 stars if I could see who was working and get barber of our choice... I will wait for Wily. he's my barber. (even a "notes" section where I could request a specific barber would make this a 4 star app.)

The app works for me. Now I wish it would tell me who gave me the last haircut and when they are available. I'm getting one stylist "trained" on how I like it and am willing to wait for them.

I checked in and it says wait 38 mins ok no problem, I head in 35mins after checking in to wait another 18 min??? What point is your app if I have to wait almost 20mins past your promise wait time!!!.. if I was able to put zero stars I would

This app is a joke. Checked in with the app with a 23 min wait time. Got to Great Clips 25 min later and they told me it would be 30 min before my son would be able to get in. What is the point in online check-in if it's not honored. Not worth the storage space it takes up on your phone. What a joke!

My son hated going in for hair cuts, dad would do his best at home. We started going to Great Clips over a year ago and he loves it. Quick in and out. ❤

It works great. I like how I can know how long I have to wait. Meanwhile, I can get other things done until it's my turn. Way to add value through the experience!

The online check-in feature is awesome, I've been using it for a while now. I can't remember the last time I had to wait for more than 5 minutes for a haircut. I love it.

Disables predictive text. Senseless, insane choice or lazy bug.

You guys need to fix the list of salons that show up near me. For example, when I am in Cambridge and driving to Milton, I do not see the store in Milton that I want to check in.

It used to work. Now if you get there in about 30 minutes. They take you off of the list. Even though there was a 20 minute wait time. I live 30 minutes​ away, I guess I'll just go locally now. You should add a check out function. When it says 5 min check in. And you get there and it's 52 minutes. You should be able to check out with the app.

It's great and easy, I love it, I would like to see more options though, like hair cut description, or choosing who you want to cut your hair. Also it would be nice if there was a wait and if they got done earlier than estimated, for the app to notify you if you're up next or if you have only one or two people in front of you left before your turn

Simple and straight forward. No silly username and password nonsense. Just put your name and phone number in and done. Nearly as good as the project fi app in simplicity.

Very convenient and easy to use. Saves me from having to go sit and wait. Check in, you get approximate time, show up, get haircut. Easy!!! A+

This app is very user friendly. Also, if you don't have much time or can't stand wasting your time waiting to get your hair cutt then this app is for you.

I feel bad for those not checking in online. This app makes that simple.

App is easy to use, but wait time is not accurate and will fluctuate up and down varying 10 minutes. It's makes it difficult to trust the wait time and plan other errands around it accurately.

Easy to use app. Just open it, hit check in, choose location, and then see you're wait time and thats it. Not all the extra bs you get everywhere else.

Pretty GREAT that they offer free haircuts for vets on Veterans Day! My wife will tell all her lady friends to go there.

I appreciate being able to check in on the app. Then, when I get to my favorite Great Clips, I often have barely sat down before I'm called up! It has really "cut" into my reading- while-I- wait time. :-)

Walk right in and get my haircut perfect every time! This app is great! They take me before anyone else sitting waiting.

Checked in with zero wait time and waited for fifteen minutes in an empty lobby. Don't understand how they can fix it but why offer it?

The estimated wait time is impressively accurate. I just check in, show up at the estimated time, and they're ready for me. Love it!

Really upset and irritated. Why have a check in if it gets removed. Note: Traffic was bad, it took a little longer to get to destination but no excuses in my book.

The hair dressers are very friendly, and they listen to what you want in relation to what type of cut you're looking for. My husband and son love Anna the best but Jeremy is also awesome! The app is pretty accurate in terms of wait time and it's user friendly.

App is ok. Wait times still suck. Everyone is now checking in online so basically it's the same as walking in. Devs just wanted to make an app and practically force people to download so they get high numbers. Better off going to another barber shop.

If you don't check in online you have to wait for everyone that did so it's best to get this app if you plan on going to Great Clips

I love being able to check in online. It eliminates wait time in the salon with my reluctant child.

Friendly staff and super convenient to check in before arriving. Allows you to run a few errands if waiting time permits.

I wish they had a feature that told you when your last hair cut was. Besides that I love it.

They say you will get the next stylist once you arrive. This is not true. You get put behind the people already waiting there. This makes the app pointless as well as false advertising.
