The last few years have a horrible non functioning apps. This one works great. Now I don't have to lug around a huge program and flip through endless pages to find a brewery, beer, or location I need. I can instantly search for all the specialty beers then mark them on the map so I can find the exact section and booth number. I haven't tried the ratings much, but this is exactly what I've been wanting for many years. 2017 update: Still pretty good but some beers aren't listed like in the "heavy medal" past winners Thursday and Pro-Am Thursday the app said the beers would be available that day but they never were. I would also like to see search or filter by Style.

For the biggest festival this app is a let down. Beer titles are repeating. Don't show only 20 beers at a time on the tour boxes in fact Allow us to filter using official style names and show all beers and allow us to select a beer for our wish list.

Such a great idea and well done.

Hey GABF...next time make sure you have wifi available during your festival so that we can use this app along with Untapped. No data coverage inside. Couldn't use this app to take notes on all the beer tastings. Total let down!

Great listings, map, but really need to work w/ breweries to develop a system to simply scan a barcode of a beer you like while at their booth, instantly saving that information instead of having to look it up and manually save each one.

Too many notifications after the event!

I'm not getting the Facebook aspect. I loaded the app on 2 devices, selected some breweries on one, made sure both apps were connected to FB, then checked to see if the same breweries were selected on the other device. Nope. So, how will Facebook save my data if it can't even synch the data between 2 devices?

Writing tasting notes was hard as my keyboard covered the text box.

When I updated the app it wiped out all my brewery selections and now the search feature doesn't work. I've uninstalled & reinstalled but it still doesn't work. Bummed. Wish I could get the old version back. It worked great.

Wish I hadn't saved a bunch of breweries on the app before the latest update happened - they've all been erased...I probably won't go back and resave them.

GBAF 2015! Here it comes! Any chance we can get off line options for saving lists? Cell reception slows to a crawl in the venue.

It would be a BIG help listing the beer types along the name.

Not intuitive... or friendly prolly built by an apple person

This app seems to get better each year. Doesn't seem to need a connection, so that will save on battery. I look forward to putting the app through its paces at the party.

Explain the device I'd permission and the need to access media, and I'll change my review

Much improved over last year's version. The interactive map feature was very well done. One thing that may be improved next year is a better way to find the winners on Saturday. The "tour" included them, but it would be nice if you could search for specific category winners, etc.

Being able to use the app offline is a major bonus, no chance of untappd working in the hall. Only request would be that when you back out of a brewery page you return to where that brewery was on the list, not the top of the list.

Love the new features, very seamless compared to old version. Makes navigating the festival much easier. Nice job guys!

Light years better than last year's app. Map function was very helpful.

I've bugged these guys last few years to include a map on their app. The convention center is too big and busy to navigate efficiently without one. Glad they're finally on board! The search option doesn't work as already mentioned, but already much better than last year. There are a few other features I would like to see, so still not 5 stars. It doesn,t seem to recognize that the same user is on my tablet as on my phone. I'm looking for a login /sync option. I guess I can't have everything.

Is this years app going to wipe everyone's data? Or will it be better than last years app?

The brewery search doesn't work on my phone (Galaxy S 2), but does work on my tablet.

So far it looks good. Want to wait and see if the beer rating and tasting notes will be functional!
