No date and time stamp on weather advisories. News frequently has a lot of mispelled words and sentences need to be edited. Needs a new look. Content is decent. In the hd world this app is using color crayons.

Like the other app better. The VNL weather app. Easier to navigate around. This app is worthless

Not able to update settings for severe weather

I find the weather part hard to navigate & I think it is annoying that when a breaking news alert comes through, clicking on it brings you to the home page and not the breaking news article. Also, when you click on the breaking news alerts right when they come through, they are not updated inside the app.

It SUCKS.

UPDATE 9/21/16: Still sending out breaking news alerts with no articles or info. I don't know what your phones show, but I get about 3 words on my notifications. Turning off this worthless portion.

They will send you alerts but you can't read them... they aren't in the app just in a little mediocre blurb in your alert window. It's unfortunate...

Ads seem to load and play just fine but video takes a long time with multiple stop points...lots of unnecessary notifications

I lost so much respect in some news stations.My best advice to you & critical that it may come from other ppl who r crazy.I want to make this clear,no threats at all from myself,however,you truly NEED to get the written FACTS,TRUTH,before hearing one side of a story that is so far from truth. Many ppl are upset to the point of suicidal. If you only knew what you have done to hurt many families & not to mention the deceased. The professional thing is to hear both sides,see evidence,that's what you do!

Always keeps me up to date on things going on in our neighborhood and surrounding areas. Thank you for all that you're doing and keep up the good work!

Horrible grammar in both the titles of the articles and within the articles themselves. Also zero proof reading in the titles and the articles once again.

When you click on text alerts it doesn't take you to that particular storey. It takes you to the home page and you can't find the storey that you were alerted about

Nothing but lies.

When you get notifications in the bar and you half way read the headline so you click on it and it just brings you to the home page and you can't find an article with the same headline anyway. Super frustrating

A little difficult to find your way around. Have yet to receive any weather warnings that have been posted. All and all a very good app.

App works well. Glad I can resort to it for local news and weather. I have never had issues with it.

Please remove sponsored stories. Takes up space and have to sift through to find news stories.

Sends alerts all the time even tho you don't want them

If you want to get updates about the NDSU football team this is a good app. If you want real news look elsewhere. Constantly being pinged with news alerts and thinking it might be really important only to find out it's another football related fluff piece. Even during the off season they ping you to announce press conferences and such. Pathetic amount of fawning over a football team and indifference towards real news including emergency events.

It works, and it functions to a degree. I don't use it often but at least the latest gossip is always comming up on popups on my phone.

I liked the old version better it was easier to access radar and the radar system was much better than it is now

Why don't I receive alerts like I use to? Just like the tornado that touched down, no alerts,nothing at all. Pretty upset.

Adds one more way to stay alert

Going to delete if I keep getting notifications only to click on them and have the story NOT BE THERE! (Like "body found" and then NO INFO!!!)

Just updated phone to Marshmallow 6, and now no pictures show up anywhere. All I see are Valley News Live logos. Please fix.

Used to work great. Now it quits and kicks out all of the time.

It's easy to navigate

So I often get push notifications on breaking news. But when I open this app to read about it, the story isn't even there yet. Also the grammatical errors in almost EVERY story are ridiculous. You are reporters, it's your job to get it right and proof read before posting!

When I get a breaking news alert I try to open it and nothing comes up I have to go to the app instead and then it will open this happens with all 3 of our cell phones and both tablets so it's not isolated issue KVLY please get it fixed you're better than this

Needs the ability to stream on demand, not just live streaming when the news happens to be on. The commercials are also obnoxiously loud, especially that dude walker one. I can't even watch the news while rocking the baby to sleep.

No pictures on the stories

The alerts in the middle of the night are sometimes annoying, but otherwise a great app. Love being able to keep up with local news no matter where i may be.

I get a text alert, but when I swipe it to read the story (like it tells me to do), the story isn't in the news section yet. Fix that and I would give you 5 stars.
