Listen, i don't usually comment on apps unless theres something glaringly special, either good or bad, with the app. But these grapplearts apps are no f-ing joke! Well layed out, the menus load blazingly fast, the videos are super fast to load and the best part is they're all available offline too. Well done!

I love the interface and fact it doesn't stream, the videos are accessible anywhere. Great instructor and wonderful details for each move. I own a small dojo and I recommend the various grapplearts apps to my students.

Great app! I love referring to it when I'm out and have a little time to kill. The techniques are very concise and technical. Be sure to check out his website for more great material!! Apps can take up a bit of space but you get so much for what you pay for!

A few problems with first version, but swiftly dealt with. Works great now - highly recommended (check out Submissions app. also by Grapple Arts, very good too).

As with my other two reviews, I bought Stephen Kestings 'Sweeps', 'Sub Defences' and 'Submissions' apps and find them excellent in gaining requisite knowledge from. Kesting shows each move from a different angle, then lets you view another section that goes further into the key points. Its really well structured to cover the most important basic elements and an excellent resource to refer to again & again.

The instructions here, as always, is clear and precise. I really like how a technique is presented in a very short video first, then gives you the option to continue with a more detailed video. This is really helpful if you just need a quick reminder before rolling. I'm a big fan of Stephan's intructionals

Sweeps

Very good app with some very powerful sweeps that are simple and effective. Would be great resource before a training session as all sweeps are in their own menu and very very easy to use and navigate. No searching needed. About 4 sweeps from each position.. If you knew them all and could perform them well there is enough to give you a great basis for your sweeps part of your bjj game... Worked perfect on galaxy tab 10.1

BOOM! Stephan is one of my 1st DVD instructors. I have his Half Guard, Butterfly Guard & Grappling Drills dvds & they are all worth the $. I have been waiting for his Android apps and I am impressed!

Good app, but it just doesn't seem complete without a de la riva guard section. I would personally like to see more gi variations for some positions, such as spider for instance. Also, is there a guard pass app down the line? I would be awesome if everything can be combined into one app. And for future apps, perhaps a little bit about defending the moves that are being taught, or reverses would be beneficial. Good job!

I grabbed this as soon as i had the email and was gutted it didnt work right.then an update came through and bam,worked a treat.

Update... All issues have been fixed and it is working fine. I had to uninstall/ re-install but that was no problem at all. Thank you for the quick turnaround to fix the app.

Great app. I bought all of Grapple Arts apps for IOS. Now I am buying them again on Android. They are that good.

Quality stuff from Stephan.

Stephan kesting is a master at explaining the details clearly. First discovered his you-tube videos then his apps Probably wouldn't be able to train with out these, cause he fills in the details that are left out in class.. Mega bang for the buck value!

Stephan has several apps and every one I've downloaded has been excellent. The instruction is clear, the tips are helpful, and the insights he brings out will make a huge difference to your game. Easy 5 stars!

Very affordable, in depth instructional by a great instructor. Don't hesitate purchasing.

No advice on transitioning between guards but each sweep is great as is each guard principle.

Awesome app

Wonderfully detailed instructions. High quality video. Ridiculously low price for the amount of material you get. I cannot recommend this highly enough. I've bought all of Kesting's apps and use them all the time. A simply amazing value and the instruction is great. Even though this focuses on "basic" moves, I'm a purple belt and find the details extremely helpful. I'm sure I'll continue using this well after I've gotten my black belt.

This is a great app. I just wish there was a replay button so I could watch the moves over a few times without going back to the main menu.

Excellent video reference for 26 sweeps. Works out less than 10p a technique. Video is HD and all stored on the phone so no data usage charges to watch on the bus to your BJJ classes. Highly recommended app.

Great for reviewing techniques whenever I have a bit of down time. Very convenient and helpful. Keep them coming for android, I would be interested in an app for Takedowns or whatever else you have in store!
