Grandstream Wave - Video

I switched from Zoiper because it just has become unreliable for me and call quality was poor. I love this app however on my Samsung Galaxy S7 it does not start automatically on my phone. i have to keep remembering to go into the app after I reboot otherwise I miss calls. I have the "Start on boot" setting turned on but it appears not to work on my phone. I would love it if the issue got fixed and I could give it a better review.

You need to work on voice latency. There's a one or two second delay between callers even in ideal network conditions. Zoiper's latency is barely detectable. Overall I prefer Grandstream, but the latency is a deal breaker for me.

not worthy of the Gandstream brand. My ht7501 works flawlessly on same exact mobile network while this app cant even establish a connection with my provider even though on my providers end it shows as registered with grandstream wave. Also does not allow any insight into the keepalive frequency or whether to use it over wifi or mobile or both even though this option is available on Grandstream hardware variants. Offers no explanation to why it fails to register even though according to provider it is infact registered.I have no doubt that these issues are easily fixed by making more sip setting s available to the user from within the app as well as giving the user access to the sip logs through the notification panel or from within the app. Using alternative mirror of the same provider allows registration (really?) but incommng calls do not work. Grandstream ignored other Googleplay review mentioning the sip server address field is not honouring the outgoing port (addess:port) and it doesn't even have any other field to specify the outgoing port or allow the user to know what outgoing port grandstream is using (i assume 5060) .

The best free softphone that I have used, the only thing to improve is the way to autoconfigure the account, for example some option to import or download a configure file with the P Values, or some web which we can generate a QR code with all configuration..

GS wave have accessibility problems: Talkback doesn't reads dialpad and keyboard. It pronounce - unlabeled buttton. It is developer problem.

I am having difficultly with VOIP calls interrupting my normal GSM calls. How do I fix this?

This app is useless now, people can't hear me well when I'm talking, and I'm using OnePlus 5, this needs to get fixed.

Like the support for multiple registrations. Really needs to have the option to override the native dailer to ensure all calls go through sip. Please.

Blows away Zoiper. Bluetooth works flawlessly, and call log gives you the full detail unlike the other app I mentioned. Its also beautifully designed. Surprised its free, well done guys. Based on this apps reputation, Im now going to buy a grandstream SIP phone

Got this app to register with Freepbx but the answer button and reject button dont work, you cant answer or reject call....it just rings. By the way I bought a GXP2160 and is awesome. cant say the same for the android app. I hope I could resolve this I really have faith in Grandstream they have great products. Resolved! Nat setting set to yes on Freepbx on extension my BAD!

Soft phone would not always ring when inbound calls came in. We tried trouble shooting constantly do test call and it was irritating how it was just terribly inconsistent. Thought it was the VOIP provider, then I downloaded the zoiper pro app and everything worked perfect.

I've been using Zoiper so far but when I found this app I decided to give it a try. Very impressed must say lots of codecs free where in other apps you must pay but a few things could be nice to add ex. Option to record calls automatically, choose format and ability to share them also could you improve call history ? When u have a missed call u never know which number was called ..

Works great in that every call rings in. Answering shows on other end we are connected but it just keeps ringing for me on my Samsung S5 so I can't respond to the call quality. Should add this is not on WiFi.

My WiFi internet service is poor but cheap, so I need an soft phone app that directs calls over 4G. When I select disable WiFi network option while connected to WiFi, the App won't connect to my SIP provider.

Only gripe is that it doesn't support screen rotation on tablets.

Garbage. I've worked in telecoms for more than 20 years and this is the first VoIP app I've not been able to connect to our Asterisk servers using any phone or tablet in our organisation. No matter what settings I change, download bandwidth is always zero. Nothing in the Asterisk logs is wrong so fault must be GSWave or my lack of understanding how to configure it. Back to using Zoiper I'm afraid.

Awesome app, flawless. I'm testing a ucm6202 sip server through internet and it's awesome the quality you can get together with this app. Hats off to you.

Since the latest update incoming call has become a miss or hit affair. Sometimes calls come in other times calls won't come in.

This is the best quality sip client in android with the best integration. Configuration is not for beginners
