Orpheus Sheet Music PRO for Android
Since the update my air turn pedal works backwards ie when turning to the next page it goes back to the previous page and there is no way to change it back so that it works the right way round. Other than that it's a great program.
Write a lot of sheetmusic. This app reads it Without the need to import it First. Simply turn on / off unneeded folders. Would like te option to scroll to First Page when I reach the last page.
Overall great app. Edited, every time I mark up a song it then crashes the app when I try to reopen the song
It is limited because you have to use dropbox. it is also clumsey. Mobile Sheets is better in my opinion.
Without carrying heavy files. Love it! Ordered music stand holding tablet. Looking forward to playing!
Love it!!
Keeps crashing everyone I try and perform anything a little strenuous. Also doesn't like the pdf s in my drop box. What a waste of money.
Very basic. Binders would be a *huge* improvement. Looks like I'll be sticking to my iPad for gigs for the near future
Attractive app, but very few features. Pro version supports importing multiple chart folders, but you can't access charts by folder in the app. All charts get lumped under a single "All Charts" tab, requiring me to scroll through 400+ charts to find a tune from Band A's list of 50 tunes. App supports enabling/disabling (showing/hiding) charts from specific folders, but that would be tedious with a couple dozen folders, and seems like a kludge to overcome the omission of a folder tree view. I could spend the day putting all these charts into by-band setlists, but why? They're already organized they way I want them... BY FOLDER. Clearly not a "Pro" version, just a "$" version Refund, please.
Just what I needed - has the basic page fwd/back functions, set lists and can mark up the music. If I could type the mark-up notes in, it would be even better! :D
Works fine except the editing, looks like a 4 year old writing with a giant red crayon. Please sort it
It would be nice if I could make notes at the set list level this way the master copy could remain unchanged but I could have different notes per gig. Also it would be cool to be able to make notes in a text box so I can type them in.
Love the Dropbox integration. Isthere any way you can store set list there as well so they don't have to rebuilt on every device? Really needs to be able to do text annotation for lyric changes. Definitely looking forward to the hotlink options for repeats. MP3 playback integration would would be great for rehearsals too.

Would be cool if we could type text over it. Something that would work like the snapchat text (without backdrop) type and resize/drag where you want. Add that and it's a 5 star app :)
Finally found the right combination of features I was willing to pay for.
Cant go through Dropbox and pick individual pdfs. Very annoying
Slow turning pages... and doesnt have other options to turning pages like vertical scroll, half page turn or others... there are better apps out there... theres $10 ill never see again
Well written, excellent program. I no longer need to lug 3 ring binders to to gig. Can change a set list on the fly and don't need a light when playing in a dark venue. My home-made foot pedal works great with it. ($20 in parts!)
for displaying music in a clear and easy to follow manner, and compatible with major foot pedals, orpheus can not be beat. and displays document pdfs well, too. thank you
Fluid movement in flipping pages and works well, but Bookmark would be handy to jump to certain pages and if tapping on screen could bring up thumbnails of all the pages to also be able to jump pages, that would be great. I have my jazz real books on this and having to manually flick through 300 pages to get to a song is time consuming
Playback no available
I use Orpheus at live performances, and I love that I can access all my charts all the time. The dropbox synch is invaluable. Steep learning curve but worth the initial frustration. Thank you!
I like the clean interface. Full screen view for sheets would be swell! Still, good job and keep 'em features coming :)
Overall great app. A few things I wish were in the app are: ability to search all songs by letter rather than needing to scroll through everything; faster page turns; and bring the annotate button back.
Intuitive and fast. No problem on Galaxy S 4 phone. Helps me do away with 20 display books of charts. Great!
Love the app...but coming from the iPad air to an Android (nexus 9), I wish I had a few of the features I had on the iPad app called Forescore. Can you look into importing by camera, and allowing to crop in the app? I know annotation is coming soon. Really looking forward to that. When will we see a an update?
Very handy app.
The Best
The interface design is the best and I really, really wanted it to work better than mobilesheets. But sadly page turns are jerky slower, blue tooth pageflip not quite compatible, and not sure what is happening with offline cach? Still seems slow after caching and lose pages after disconnecting from drop box
I was doing an outdoor gig in a remote area this afternoon and when I opened the app, noted that it had been updated to 2.0. Fine, but all my music disappeared, and I could not upload them from dropbox because there was no wifi or cell phone signal. I was livid.
Neat interface and performance! GoogleDrive/OneDrive integration and air gesture for page turn would be a huge hit!
I play guitar for a church choir band. I emailed back and forth with Maeve about the program and she suggested that I wait on 2.0 before buying. 2.0 was just a week or so out. I swapped from and iPad to a Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12 incher, and today bought Orpheus 2.0. After just 10 minutes or so I'm up and running. I casched over 200 one page pdf chord charts and am very happy with how the program builds set lists. All I need for my use is the program to build a set for a given date's service, without me printing the chord charts out and re-scanning them into a 10 -r 12 page pdf, so I can use a single pdf file and just air turn through it. Now that Orpheus 2.0 can build sets and save them I'm off and running. All I have to do now is just add charts to Dropbox. This has saved me a fairly long evening when I get the printed set list from the Music Minister. I used to do this with scanned hardcopies. Thanks Maeve for the improvements in 2.0 . I have no idea what these folks want that are writing "almost good enough" reviews; but, obviously they need more than I do to perform. Big Ron YouTube BigRon2176
The most recent update has improved several issues, with the set list feature, allowing for much quicker page flipping and song switching, though it seems strange to me to have the next pdf open, rather than just flip a page to it. A few suggestions: - Instead of caching the music, why not compile the set list into a single pdf, while maintaining the original files, then when a set list is modified, delete the old file and make a different one. It would look the same to the user, and allow for page switching to happen more Smoothly. Next, two page view. This pretty much explains itself. For many musicians, after learning a piece, we just need to glance at the music every once in a while to keep our place. Having a full page view and a zoomed in view are both nice for learning a song, but a 2 Page view would be better for performance. Finally, a cropping feature that cuts white space horizontally on pages to make a 3 page view possible. All of these features are available in mupdf, which is open source and ridiculously fast, and with the proper front end, would make an excellent music viewer.

Latest update fixes slow loading woes, no matter the number of pages involved. Tip top! Still missing annotations, which is unfortunate, but knowing they are coming is nice. Drive support will also be nice. Next update will likely make the app an unreserved 5 stars.
It's slow
I loved the simplicity and easy usability of this application. This is so far the best app. The features are too good of this digital sheet music reader.
I think Maeve and the team are absolutely on the correct path with their vision of a "no bells and whistles" sheet music reader and set list builder, and I absolutely love the dropbox integration. What an easy way to get my charts loaded on my tablet and keep them up to date. Kudos! Another plus: Orpheus is documented to work with the AirTurn pedal, but it also works flawlessly with my PageFlip Firefly pedal. That was a happy discovery. I would hold back and only give it four stars because there is no subfolder support for charts (and I've got over a thousand charts - in subfolders), but when I wrote to Maeve about my concerns, she so was so quick to reply and address my concerns that I'm bumping it back up to five stars just for the support. ...and the subfolder support is evidently only a couple of weeks out. At that point, I'd give 'em another star, if I could. There are plenty of great apps along this line for the iPads, but it's been rather slim pickings for us Android users, so I have to say I'm thrilled with what Orpheus brings to the table(t). (semi-pun intended.) My Galaxy 10.1 now has a new favorite app - Orpheus. :)

I do not recommend. Does not work well. Used it during a community style jam session for the first time last night. It crashed several times, asking me if I wanted to "Report or Close". What the heck? I just want it to work reliably as advertised, not be a beta tester. A good idea in theory, turned out to be a waste of my time and money. I will look for something that works, or return to using paper in binders.
