About GPS Tape Measure
GPS Tape Measure estimates the straight line distance from point 1 to point 2. Simple and easy to use. Just click the button at Point 1 and then go to Point 2 to see the distance between.

Not for measuring a curved path.
GPS is only accurate to within several meters. Even under ideal conditions, an error of 5 meters is common.
This is not an odometer. It measures displacement, not distance traveled.

A difference of 29 ft over 572.18 ft is not an acceptable glitch. If it's not accurate to with in 2-3 feet it is a useless app. A lot more work is needed. The gps on my phone is accurate to with in 3 ft. Very poor design and program

Works perfect for measuring point to point. I use it to measure seaplane take off distance in remote areas of Panama. Regular Garmin measures in 10ths. Not exact enough. But this does straight line measurements damn close enough. Stoked.
