This program allows you to measure areas of any size, with a precision marked by your own GPS. The larger the area, the better the measure. The perfect tool for field and farm work. Combine this App with the free program "gpmReport" for send the measurements to printer in one single step.
The main features are:
- Coordinates Lat/Lon, UTM
- Precise Calculation of the area using projection UTM
- Precise reading of the position of the GPS using averages
- Units of measurement: Metric system or Imperial
- Export data in ESRI Shapefile

This app is very basic. I was hoping to be able to import .shp files but it appeared to be a very convoluted process. I'm giving this app one star because I think it is incredibly over-priced for what it does.

Great app for my needs which consists mainly of determining acreages for wildlife food plots and prescribed burn acreages.

Every Farmer Can Use This. I've mapped all the fields and wind towers and roads. Worked great to map fire damage area last summer. The insurance adjuster was impressed.

will be wonderful 5 stars, if this app can do: 1. IMPORT area, 2. DELETE specific POINTs, 3. MEASURE distance between point, 4. ACTIVATE HDOP filter. This app on Windows Mobile can do all of that, but can't do on Android version.

I use it on lg optimus black, but it doesn't work on google maps, doesnt work the save or export file. Too bad.
