Does NOT send money. Will withdraw from your checking account, and pretend like it sent money. But then, due to some "security features" it requires you to... go to the nearest store location to confirm? WTF? Oh, and it doesn't allow me to use checks ($10 fee) because my bank (B of A) doesn't have "tell-a-check." Also, converts to a random currency (Euro) which is not used in that country. If you want to use Moneygram, go to a store (any Walmart), that is fine. But NEVER use it through the app.

That's my second attempt with this company. After they ask you creepy and ridiculous questions such as, did you or did you not have a baby Giraffe when you were 5, they come up with some bull to not let your transaction go through. For your own security. Because you could not remember your pet's name or you phone number from 20 years ago!!

Tried to make an account online. Was asked 4 security questions which 2 had nothing to do with me. App said it could not confirm my identity which is ridiculous. I called the 1800 number and they told me I can never use online services because I did not answer identity questions correctly. But I did. I'm never using money gram again.

Had to get a code to verify who I was. Not a problem. But tried 4 times and it kept saying invalid code. Person on phone was no help. After a FEW HOURS of trying I waited til morning and it finally worked. Will NEVER use them again. Supervisors couldn't help and didn't get discount for inconvenience.

Doesn't allow input of middle initials or suffixes, like "John Q. Public, Jr." Enter "John Public" because you don't have a choice, and when the person picking up presents their ID, MGram follows corporate policy and denies the person the funds. You try to fix it in the app, and you can't. Then, you try to cancel in the app, the drop down to select the reason WHY you want to cancel is empty, and you can't finish. Then you call to fix it, and they can't and make you cancel and have to wait 3-10 business days

Bad customer service, I had to refund the money because I just want to to send more but they only gave me half of the money. Not trusty money to send. Will never ever use it again, I'd call to customer service for third time to tell about the refunded money was not correct and to make another transaction to send money, and then what??? He just dropped the call.

Got Locked out after 2 tries, which was strange, called customer service, they told me I tried multiple times, got me scarred. Asked/insisted speak to supervisor or manager they refused. How do I ensure that my account is closed. And Information is not stored for future miss use?

I'm with my lawyer and will be suing them for not doing their job and sending money. They refuse to send my money because their say they feel uncomfortable. I now have bills that are late being paid and legal matters that are put one hold because they refused to send my money. It's not their place to question your money. They have only one job to do and that's to send money. If you don't want to do that job please by all means close your company down. Moneygram is a waste of time and a wasted company.

I should of just went into mg period and avoided the whole situation altogether. They put Calif to Calif.When i put Calif to Galesburg.so i had to go to walmart and have a associate call them to fix it.they said i couldn't call them.but i was talking to them on the phone and im sending my money.w.e.

Asked a lot of personal questions, like I was being interrogated. Tech support woman spoke way to quietly, way too fast. Denied my order for reasons I STILL don't know. Not worth it. I'm going to western union. Screw money gram. It's a garbage app and a worse service.

Tried using to send money to Puerto Rico. Use CVS store all the time. Thought this would save me time. NOT,.!!! First time the amount, $300 was over some limit. Told to cancel the transaction. Still haven't gotten the money back. 2 weeks later!!

Within the app there is a drop down menu for "ID Type" and the menu is non functioning on my Nexus device. Thus you can't proceed with any transfers as the field is required. Since you can't progress past the page on which this field is located the app is essentially useless for me. Their customer service is even worse. Stay away.

They want you to go in store so it cost more to send...always talking about security for youbto send money to a family member. Bunch of b.s. dont have a app if no one can use it without the b.s

This people have no clue what they are doing, horrible customer care and terrible service. I wonder how they haven't lost all their businesses. Absolutely waste of time with no explanation. When customer center personnel says bla bla bla, they are sorry they don't know why what happened, happened? Then I wonder why they are customer service in the first place with no information.

This the only service i use to send to my country. How yhe security thing that implemented is annoying. Every time I'm logging in asks me to request a one time security code. Please either remove that or only ask the question once for user confirmation not every time.

I called customer service for online transfer, they have no respect for customers. They do not take time to listen to you and may end the call without letting you know. They are not well trained.

Security cancelled my transaction for no reason given. Asking me stupid questions like when I saw my family last, what city and state they live. Oh Really? You offer a service than you decline it???? I'm Uninstalling! Don't need you're drama ass service in my life!

Did everything CS sd to do still wont wrk. Called my bank... All my info is correct... they sd that the request was being made (several times) but no dollar amt. My bank didnt deny the request!

This app is useless every time I put in company to make a payment it says invalid or cannot find billing location which doesn't make any sense because when I search up the company the app can find it just fine. If I could give zero stars I would

The app let me go through the account setup and the transaction menu but as soon as i hit send it told me they couldn't verify my identity and locked me out of my account. I tried calling their customer support and they hung up on me after they said hi my name is..... I don't know what happened but what i do know is that this is very scary and i hope to get some form of clarity about this as soon as possible but until then ill keep an eye on any activity in my bank account to make sure nothing is going on.

App functions rather well, sometimes. Must enter a "one time" code almost everytime I try to login. For my own security, cannot make up security questions or answers specific to me. Only 1 out of 3 successful in store sends, shows up as received? Credit card use results in charges for "advance cash fees". Entering my bank account info is not gonna happen. Oh yea, right hand menu hangs open too! So many 5 star ratings seems suspicious.

Felt like a prisoner being questioned by the Gestapo! Tried to send money to my daughter in another state, when I get a phone call from some guy from India asking my purpose for sending it! After many years using money gram this incident directed my business to WESTERN UNION! Uninstalling! I NEED INFO ON HOW TO DEACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT! PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH THE DETAILS!

One of the worst services our there plus rude and cluesless customer service reps. They decline your transaction based on a reason they can't explain to you for the integrity of their service.

This App is a waste of time. I tried all types of verification methods and it still doesn't work. I bet with actual Security risk they let it go through but with normal Law abiding citizens they make it absolutely impossible.

Terrible terrible service!!! Couldn't send money after answering 300 questions to confirm my personal information on the phone. Then they say you need to go to the store. Perfect since the stores are closed.

Complete waste of time!!! Don't even bother installing it. After verifying all the security questions, the rep on the phone comes back to say unfortunately the system couldn't approve my transaction. What a waste of time!!!

If I have to verify my reasons for sending money to my sister only to be denied every time, I don't need to do business with them...had to inconvenience myself having to go to the local store to send the money....never again they lost a customer and I'm uninstalling this crap....western union ask the way.

The biggest SCAM ever. I installed this app trying to send money using my bank account which cheaper but it keep telling me that my Bank account couldn't be verify, I contacted the company they gave me a number for a third party company (TELE...)they updated my info and still I couldn't send the money instead they offer me to send the money via Debit/Credit card. I keep asking why are they offering a service that they really don't have.

Worst money transfer app ever used. They ask you all these questions like they want to give you a loan. Yet you're paying them to send money.

I was just about to send money through this app, I halted at where it asked for my routing number, then I came back here and read these feedbacks.. Never mind im not using this app. All though moneygram is a great company.

Asked me over 15 questions, took my personal information, i answered all correct & f***r told me he is not comfortable making the transaction cuz i guess he respects money laundering & terrorism. Bet u he belongs to these joker families. Get a life, sucker! Companies like this r not there to protect innocent people. This freakin service is the most annoying service I have ever encountered I hate money gram so much I just about broke my phone you get one little thing wrong and they deactivate your account freakin bull crap I wish there was a zero star

Total waste of time. I don't know why i downloaded it even after reading the reviews. An advice to you... Don't waste your time. They are amateurs.

Terrible service. They blocked me from signing up. Once I entered my last 4 digit social security number, I got an error message with a phone number to call. That's when the drama started. Bad customer experience, clueless supervisors. Will not give this company a dime again.

do yourself a favor, run. they outsource customer service no one speaks english and they deny service.

i setup 2 accounts and was unale to gain access to either accounts i created when I called the 1800 number they couldn't help me and they don't have a cooperate or anyone else to help. That's some bull im so pissed. im deleting this app.

Should've known from the 3.8 rating that this service was garbage. I'll never attempt to send money by them again. Terrible customer service and experience across the board.
