SyncRoid - Outlook Sync for Android
It's OK and works to an extent. I have used it several times (10 or so) to sync to the phone and it does the job some of the time. I have found it misses contacts or does not sync phone numbers when it transfers a contact. Syncing the calendar transfers single appointments over to the phone but does not transfer existing recurring appintments. So it works but not perfectly by a long way.
Does what it needs to do. However interface is sluggish and design is severely outdated. A material design refresh would be well appreciated, as well as making the app work smoother and quicker, it feels as if the app is on standstill since 2013.
Claims to work with WiFi. Would not connect, even with multiple avenues tried. Company totally nonresponsive to web contact and email. I want my money back.
Now unusable :-( Things were going well until I had to delete and re-add my hotmail account in Outlook (I have other email accounts in there as well). Sync quit working after that. So I uninstalled the app on the PC and uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone. Now when I go to run it on my phone, the orange and green "Cancel" and "Next" buttons are 98% hidden by the menu button! I cannot press any of them to proceed to set it up on my phone :-( Phone is a Motorola Droid Turbo Please fix the screen layout so the buttons are not hidden. EDIT: Was finally able to get it to work but the buttons were almost impossible to hit w/barely a sliver of each button showing. Also after a sync, the "OK" button is about 70% hidden and hard to hit. Screen size/layout needs major improvements.
only syncs about 1/4 of the time after restarting pc and client over and over. And no option to sync any future events, even a day, weird. ... fought it for a two years, finally tried another app and the new app works perfectly every time.
Sync works great with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. This does everything it says. Well worth the $$!
Upgrading my rating, current version 3.1 and PC client version 2.0.0.0 resolved the syncing issues. App is working fine, will increase rating as the app continues to improve. Customer response still needs improvement but on the right track.
Why?

App hangs and/or doesn't work at all with latest outlook on windows 10.
So frustrating. Took 2 hours to set up. Worked finally, now has failed after 1 week. Error "no worker on int"
Created lots of duplicates on my outlook calendar. Took over an hour to fix. Stay away unless you want a waste of time. Tried emailing for support but no response so far (over a day.)
Do what kies should do. Aync time is short loading from outlook in real time. Recommend with pleasure.
Other solutions are $30 this is great value and works well
Just tried second sync. Slow. 2-way crashed twice. So tried phone to outlook and it worked but every task deleted on PC since first sync is back, and worse , edits have been lost.
You wiil probably have problems. Support is feeble.
I contacted you before by your contact us and still have not received a reply. Syncroid is not syncing with my outlook calendar. If this cannot be corrected the software is no use to me and I would request a refund of my monies. Someone please contact me. Thank you.
Great app, does the job, been looking for a easy app to sync outlook, this so far is best IMO. Would love to see these features for future updates. 1. Sync contact photos as well from Outlook. 2. Remember PC IP instead of discovering on every sync. 3. Incremental sync, sync only last modified instead of full sync on Two-Way Other then that, works good, keep up the great work!
I tried different apps for PC/Android sync and this one is best so far. Calendar works very well - DST adjustments, reoccurring events and so on. Good job!
Works exactly as advertised. $4 very well spent! Being able to continue using Outlook 2010 and still take calendar and tasks with me - while keeping Gmail as primary was becoming a major headache, until I found SyncRoid. Sure, dumping everything into the Google clould would be easier, but Outlook 2010 is a keeper for me and this software keeps it relevant. Thanks for a job well done.
I have a Galaxy S5 Sport and a 64 bit Desktop running Windows 8.1. In short the app does not work. I tried wifi and bluetooth connections without success. I get error messages about the app and pc application not being compatible, the app suddenly stops working, or, connection occurs but no data is shared between the phone and Outlook 2013, the programs just grind and grind. Two e-mails to the developers asking for help went unanswered. I wasted $4.00!

My phone keeps checking for version compatibility. Very annoying.
I am an avid user of Microsoft Outlook for the calendar and contacts but have a Motorola Moto G (android) phone. This app synchronises perfectly to my phone. I did have one small problem but the help desk people responded almost by return, with a solution.
Simply awesome. Works great on my Nexus S... The sync time has greatly improved in the latest release. I am syncing contacts and calendar but not tasks as I do not use those. Worth the price I paidd. Thanks for adding the WiFi sync as requested. Highly recommended.
I spent days scouring the internet for an offline Contacts and Calendar sync product that did what Samsung Kies should do but doesn't. As a former BlackBerry user I was used to the (free) native sync client handling my Outlook to device sync. I don't want all my contacts and personal calendar on the cloud and Kies does not sync with a local Outlook account. SyncRoid does this perfectly and for the price you cannot beat it! All the other companies offering a similar product want $25-50 + which is ridiculous if all you need is to sync is Contacts, Calendars, and Tasks. The interface is very easy to use on both the PC and Android side. As a former IT Sysadmin used to dealing with product support for hardware/software I can honestly say SyncRoid support is easy to deal with, very helpful and willing to work with their user base which keeps the product moving forwards. Great product SyncRoid team!
- This App does a GREAT job of sync'ing Outlook and my phone calendar. I use it every day and everything has been working fine since the November 4th update. I was afraid to update to the latest version, but I did today and it still works fine. Sync'ing could be a little faster, so hopefully that will be improved in future versions, but for what I need it for this is an AWESOME APP so I am upgrading my rating to 5 stars again!! Also, Tech Support is excellent.
After some bumps, the app and my phone and my work laptop are all playing nicely together again (re-pairing the phone and laptop helped). Cautiously upgrading to 4-stars now. Seems like I've had to do a lot of re-pairing, re-setting sync history, and sometimes uninstalling and reinstalling on both the laptop and phone, but at the moment all has been working well daily for several days. Hope this is the end of whatever glitches that have been popping up with connectivity over Bluetooth. Since the changes last November or so that were supposed to improve speed, I don't really see it all that fast (seems about the same as older versions to me) and not a fan of having to not only install the app on my laptop but also SQLLite. Wish the PC side could be a lot lighter.
I've been using this for a year or so to keep contacts and calendars on my Nexus 4 and 7 devices in step with Outlook on my Windows 8 laptop, and it keeps getting better. Fair to say I've had one or two issues but the support has been first class with a reply usually within a day and it's never failed to solve the problem. A bit of discipline in maintaining Outlook helps - for example, it does prefer the First and Last name fields to be populated in Contacts. But once I'd got my head round that it's worked fine. Highly recommended.
Great App. I have S3 and this app ran smoothly without a hiccup.the initial setup is a bit long ,i had to delete my existing bluetooth drivers and instal the one they recomended, but after going through all the initial phase now the app runs great.I wil recomed this app.just be patient with the initial setup and read through the instructions carefully
I love being able to sync Outlook with my phone. Although the last upgrade caused several problems between this app and my version of outlook, I found the support desk to be untiring in their efforts to resolve the problem and get this app back up and running for me.
good application. most of the things works fine for me. only problem I have is that none of my recurring meetings are syncing from outlook to phone! Any suggestion from developer?
Version 3.2 totally resolved all problems I had with 3.1 crashing or not syncing. I waited a few weeks before submitting this review just to be sure it was stable. Yes you do need a client on PC and other software too but they are easy to do.
I recently updated by Galaxy S5 from Android 4 to 5, and SyncRoid sadly stopped working. I reached out to SyncRoid support, and recently a reply within hours. I performed the simple steps that they recommended, and now SyncRoid works perfectly with Android 5. Excellent technical support from this team! This program does an excellent job at syncing my Outlook work calendar to my phone, something I used to rely on Google calendar sync to do - and Google stopped this service. Thank you SyncRoid!
I feel sorry to have downloaded the app. How can I get my money back?
No support no updates i would like a refund please
Nexus 5. Recent update 'synchroid has stopped working'. Fixed by reinstall of app. So far app has been handy but not hassle free.
I've only successfully sync'd 1 time. Just tried to sync 5 minutes ago and the app crashes and closes the report a problem window before I can even click on it to send the issue. When it did sync the 1 time it doubled a ton of calendar items, made many others reoccurring forever and added items that were long deleted. Sketchy app at best.

Finally the autosync works in two-way sync and it became the sync app that we all wanted. Now we can talk only for performance issues. My android is 4.4.2 btw and the client is on Win 7 64 bit and Outlook 2010. The app got better and now is fully functional.
