About iRewardChart Lite

★★★★★ Winner of "Best Parenting App" two years in a row (2010, 2011), via BestAppEver.com ★★★★★

iRewardChart makes it easy to reward your children for good behavior and keep them motivated.

1. Type their name,
2. Select a few tasks from our list of suggestions, and
3. Reward their accomplishments with a single tap in the weekly chart
(* The sync-ing between devices recently launched on iOS, coming to Android soon)
-----------------------------------------------------------------

When stars have been earned, your child can pick from the default list of suggested rewards, or you can setup your own custom rewards especially tailored for each of your children, like "$2 Pocket Money" or "One Hour Of TV".

Children love to feel responsible, challenged and respected. But most children don't like being told what to do... iRewardChart also allows you to set up abstract goals like "Patience" and "Sharing With Others", so rewards teach the virtues you want your child to learn.

You better do all but first read ahead please so I know you are good if you think I am correct just click two star like me. Do not know how to purchase the full version. rather delete this app and get chords list free. This app is Evan rubbish than kids cartoons if you think this is true then read more please. This app should be useful for teacher!!!! If you think I am correct please click thumb up and please share

It's free. It works alright for the one kid. It's nice that you can personalize the things they get stars for and what they can spend them on. But it really sucks that as soon as you change the tasks, the entire history changes to the new tasks. So I can't go back and see what my kid was working on and track behavioral issues from changes. That really needs to be fixed.

W70%
by W####:

It needs a kid friendly interface where kids can pull up how they are doing and possibly even redeem their rewards. It just seems limited and for it to be effective it should have some sort of child interaction as well. If chore monster had this adult interface or this had chore monsters child interface it would be perfect

This app would be great for teachers too. If another version could include stars for multiple classes e.g. reading, math, science, specialist, etc., during the day. Also, with the ability for teachers to share information online with each other and parents. A graphing of the behavior would be great too. I looked at a few apps for teachers and this one is by far the most interesting and engaging. I would buy a teacher version and share the information with my colleagues.

Brought the full version last year and had to reinstall the software on my phone and now its asking for payment to unlock the trial not a happy bunny

I like the concept but I'm looking for something that mirrors our sons schools daily behavior checklist. I wish you had the option to choose how many points(stars) were given for that item(math/circle time/transitions,etc) my son is scored 0 to 5 points on 10 things per day. I'm looking for an app where I can enter these points off his daily sheets for me to keep track of how his week goes. I would show you what I mean if I had somewhere to send a pic.

It only lets you do one child. If you need more than one child pay $4 that is crazy there are many other apps that allow you many children for free.

L70%

It's a basic star chart for one child. You have to purchase another version to add more children but it's not anything special to have go pay.

Z70%
by Z####:

It's not really a free app. In order to do almost anything with it, you have to buy the full app.

Great concept, not so great app. I got as far as syncing it with my Dropbox account, but as soon as I tried to do any editing or add tasks or whatever (I honestly don't know what I could have done with this program from first-hand experience, since I couldn't get that far), the entire app shut down. Over and over again. I've got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, so I don't think this can be blamed on out-of-date tech. This one will be deleted and I'll have to find something else to fill my needs.

Was enjoying the app. My husband paid for it on iTunes and to use it on Android, we have to pay for the app all over again! I think that's bull, but what ever. The app worked great for a couple of weeks and then it just stopped working on both phones! It's been reported and yet we still don't have a working app after a couple of weeks.

I got it for my son aged 6 because he dose kick off now and again but once I installed this his behaviour has improved so much.

I thought that my daughter at 9 wouldn't take it serious. But she does and looks forward to her rewards

N70%

The "lite" version is ridiculous. Its more like a sample.. Very frustrating, and it was say too zoomed in.. Didn't give me a chance to know whether I wanted to buy the full version or not.

Can't adjust app volume, making the pleasant sound far too loud.

It is OK but you can only have four chores at once and only half of it works. If you are a beginner at chores you will like it but I will tell you it is not great

Sync function stopped working. Then app totally crashed and wouldnt work even after ipad restart. Had to reinstall app and start again from scratch with no sync

N70%

It's great but why can't we have more choices for the chart it would've been a great app but there is an app purchase

Z70%

What's stopping me from buying the full version is that I can't pick chore order, it makes it look kind of chaotic

But I don't like that I contacted them a week ago and no reply. I also don't like that I have to buy the app 4 different times, because my husband and I have android phones (separate google accounts) and iPads (separate apple accounts). I also don't know how we would be able to sync with my Dropbox account if he wants to use his dropbox on his devices. BESIDES that, I think the app is great! I like that my son can see the things he didn't do earlier in the week to get points so that he can improve.

After I hit synch then try to allow it access to drop box it crashes. Can't open it after that. Uninstalled and re downloaded and installed again = same result.

) Once you set lock code you can't change it or edit its settings 2) When you put a RED star it actually takes a point off. So the kids basically lose a point from a chore that was actually done, rather than simply not earning a point for the chore not done. I wanted to put red stars as visual for the kids so they can SEE, this chore was not done. The red star should simply be for visual, or the parent should be allowed to choose a setting for what a red star will do. Lite version good for 1 child

R70%
by R####:

Not happy you have to pay to reward your child a star under a certain category :-( please have more categories and I'm sure more people will be willing to pay

Open the app go to menu back to main screen = nothing works just a frozen screen ie app Crashes, thanks for the free trial saves me wasting my money.
