About iRewardChart

★★★★★ Winner of "Best Parenting App" three years in a row 2010, 2011 and 2012 (2nd), via BestAppEver.com ★★★★★
★★★★★ Featured under AppStore "Busy Parents" essentials ★★★★★
★★★★★ Featured on NBC-TodayShow, CNET's top5, AOL's (ParentDish) top10 parenting app, CNN-Money ★★★★★

iRewardChart makes it easy to reward your children for good behavior and keep them motivated.

1. Type their name,
2. Select a few tasks from our list of suggestions, and
3. Reward their accomplishments with a single tap in the weekly chart
(* The sync between devices got launched on iOS platform, and is coming to Android soon)
-----------------------------------------------------------------

When stars have been earned, your child can pick from the default list of suggested rewards, or you can setup your own custom rewards especially tailored for each of your children, like "$2 Pocket Money" or "One Hour Of TV".

Children love to feel responsible, challenged and respected. But most children don't like being told what to do... iRewardChart also allows you to set up abstract goals like "Patience" and "Sharing With Others", so rewards teach the virtues you want your child to learn.

We love the app but can't get it to sync on second phone rendering it useless for parents to each be able to track. Is there android fix for this coming?

It is so frustrating to punch details.. this application is so slow that inspite of using a pro version i am not able to utilize it.. i will uninstall it now as it is useless because of extremely slow response.. i m using samsung a7 which is not a low end ph that cant handle application.. they must do something to make it ligter.. i can consider reusing if they sort out hang issue ....

I can bring the chart wherever I go . Will not forget to add stamps anymore. Rewards are automatically deducts the stamps and reco?rded. Have been using for 2 years. However, the editing is not too flexible. I hope I could add items to rewards and adjust the list of behaviors after editing the first time (i couldn't add or deduct anything, have to delete child to do it)please fix!

The concept is fantastic. It's easy to use and simple for the kids to understand. Too bad it crashes often, loses data occasionally, and certain features never work. I bought this for the ability to sync across multiple devices but it has never worked. The developer has never responded to my questions.

Y70%
by Y####:

I saw a review that said you can't change tasks. That review was a year old. It seems like a simple enough feature to incorporate. I paid for the full version but you still can't change tasks. I'm hoping there is still support and updates. I don't know if there is though. Still a good product but the developers may have moved on.

Z70%
by Z####:

While I like the customization of target behavior, reinforcers, and cost, I don't like that certain target behavior is locked (child cannot receive or lose stars for that particular behavior) once they exchange stars for reinforcers. Very annoying feature

Z70%
by Z####:

I bought this app solely for the syncing capabilities then found out they didn't work. Decided to try to work around that and had developed a system I could use. Now it crashes every time I try to open it. Waste of time I could have put towards trying to get another app to fit my needs and a waste of money.

J70%
by J####:

I bought this app under the impression IT WOULD SYNC across devices. Very misleading, as there is a sync option and instructions when setting up the app. How in the world is this app useful if it can't sync? I'm a total a loss. I would never have bothered with it. Better to keep a piece of paper on your pocket than this.

Z70%
by Z####:

So I've been using the app for a week and I really like it, however I sorta chose the options in a bit of a rush and need to add and subtract some behaviours. It seems i can only do that once? If I can still edit those it'll be 5 stars no problem but I can't figure that out. I don't want to start a new child profile due to this. *Edit Nvm I figured it out I was just being a dingus

Z70%
by Z####:

If I could sync it across devices, I would rate it five stars. Without sync, it is of little value to our family. And given the time on between updates, I'd say it's now abandonware.

G70%
by G####:

I was excited about this app so that I could sync with a friend. We both downloaded the paid versions. However, it is not compatible between iOS and Android, which makes no sense since it's the same app.

Z70%
by Z####:

This app is all I hoped ot would be, but learning how to navigate the different fields was difficult and I could find no instruction other than trial and error (primarily with adding, deleting and alphabetizing star points).

I70%
by I####:

Like the simple interface. But when rearranging the task, the app just crashes out.

T70%
by T####:

I'd be happy to increase my rating if only they'd respond to my issue (raised an issue via the app...no response, sent a message via Facebook page...no response, sent an instant facebook message...no response). All I want is to get the Dropbox synchronisation working - currently it doesn't. It could be a good app but the support is appalling.

J70%
by J####:

I would really find it useful if two or more parents could use the same account. We need to be on the same page in divorced households. Could this be added?

Z70%
by Z####:

I would like to be able to chart progress. I would like a consequence list for "minus" stars. It is good but has loads of potential!

Z70%
by Z####:

I added this to my family library, downloaded it on both my phone and my wife's phone and synced to the same drop box account, but it's not working. So I'm not sure what they mean by syncing. It would be nice to have both my wife and I synced so we can see what the other has changed/added.

Z70%
by Z####:

Very effective at motivating good behaviour. However, there is a funny security bug. After you have set a pin code to lock the app, anybody can bypass that by choosing to change the pin code. It does not prompt for entering existing pin code!

N70%
by N####:

I've never been able to enforce or reward my six children in any program (Ages 12 11 10 8 7 5). One rolled their eyes when I set up this app. "Another one you won't stick with?" Well, it works!!! And it's so easy!!! Worth every penny.

T70%
by T####:

I like how you can choose or manually insert the task. However I would like to request developer to add an overview chart to view overall performance. Other than that, its a cool apps to monitor our precious child's behaviour and performance. All the best.

T70%
by T####:

I really like this app. I wish it would have so where my son can log in his responsibilities on his device. I can check it on my device i would like share his progress via email not social media.

T70%
by T####:

Considering you have to pay for this app I would expect it to be miles better and faster. I like that you can edit the tasks and the rewards but it's sooooo slow that by the end of trying to add stars all I want to do is throw my phone at a wall and that teaches my children nothing!! Lol. In all seriousness though, definitely not worth paying for.

F70%

Easy to use. Works great for 6 & 7 year olds. But hate that i Cannot edit tasks after initial set up.

T70%

I love that I can have my children and my daycare children on here, I like that I can add and delete rewards. I dislike that cannot delete a child once added and I cannot edit their tasks after I edit one time, considering you have to pay for this app this needs fixed.

T70%
by T####:

Easy to use and ok app overall but picture loading doesn't work and settings cannot be costumised (like US date, colours) so the makers didn't think the app through...could have been better done.

T70%
by T####:

I tried out the free version of this app and customized it with chores, tasks, and rewards. Once I fell in love with it I paid to upgrade to the paid version, but it's not an upgrade, it's a whole new app. So now I have to re-input all of my child's information, chores, tasks, rewards, and stars. This is ASININE to me. I love the app but have never had this lack of sync on any of the apps on which I've upgraded from free to paid.

Awesome app, would be so much better if my wife and I could have the app sync between our phones.

T70%

I thought it was bad but a little practise I got the reward list to edit it's a fantastic app the kids can't do enough to earn their stars

U70%

I like this app very much. It has been a big help. How do i give half stars?

T70%
by T####:

Entered children ok, entered and edited tasks but could not edit reward goals. Watched video again but just couldn't edit rewards. Waste of 3.99.

Good idea, but doesn't save the order of tasks....

Just what I needed to help the kids earn points.

T70%

App was okay before update, now all it does is crash and offer to report. Before the issues were accessibility of features on my device. My toolbar blocks some of the options such as adding chores, or reordering chores. Cash out feature is great, though I it takes a while for me to do as I am continually having to choose to share or not share rewards. I also hate the sounds on this app. No option for turning it off. I'm moving to a new app and my kids lost stars.

T70%

Used to love. But forcing close everytime I go on it lately. Disappointed

M70%
by M####:

Putting photos of my kid caused it to be unworkable. It would not let me delete their photos, so i had to end up deleting their accounts and start over. When you're on the chart screen, you can't scroll, so if you have more than just a few tasks, they get cut off the screen. This also happens on the payout screen if you have multiple rewards, and on the account screen if you have multuple children. There is also no way to undo a payout if your kid changes their mind- Once you choose a reward, no going back.

T70%
by T####:

Kids and I liked the simplicity of this app. The stars and sounds. They loved making their own profiles and choosing tasks and rewards. All good up to this point, I give 4 stars. But then, I tried to remove a task. I found I could only add the tasks to a child once. No way that I can see to edit tasks. So I uninstalled and reinstalled. I was charged a second time.... Customer service please help!

T70%
by T####:

Don't buy this app. The developer has abandoned it. It's so riddled with bugs it's unusable with no hope of being fixed, now that it's abandoned.

Having considerable "slow response" issues in Nexus 5. Kids love the app and it does what it needs to.

I have been looking for something like this for a long time. Thank you so much. Well worth the money.
