이 책은 새로운 것이 아닙니다.

4개의 복음서를 중복되지 않게 시간의 순서대로 한번에 통독할 수 있게 한 것입니다.
하지만 이 점이 이 책의 지금껏 없었던 아주 기발하고 유용한 장점이며 당신은 복음서를 더 쉽게 이해하고,
갖고 있던 여러 궁금증을(진리에 관한 것이 아닌) 상당부분 해소할 수 있을 것입니다.


책을 만들게 되는 원칙
1. 성경의 내용은 장과 절을 옮기는 것 외에는 절의 내용을 절대 누락 또는 추가나 변경하지 않았다.
2. 복음서끼리 반복되는 이야기들을 하나로 묶었다.
3. 복음서에서 저자가 다른 인물이 본 시각을 최대한 살렸다.
4. 복음서끼리 반복되는 같은 이야기들은 하나로 만들되 사복음서의 다른 내용은 빠지지 않게 했다.
5. 장과 절이 변동될 때 최대한 내용의 매끄러움과 본질의 뜻이 상하지 않는 선에서 장과 절을 옮겼다.
6. 복음서의 저자들 4명의 시각을 최대한 한 이야기로 살려 중복되는 이야기가 하나로 되지만 한 이야기가 최대한 많은 내용을 담게 했다.
7. 각각 복음서로 이 책과 비교해서 한 이야기도 빠지지 않고 한 절도 같은 내용이 빠지는 경우는 없게 했다.
8. 각각 복음서에서 중복되는 말씀들을 최대한 한 이야기로 만들되 한 복음서에서 여러 번 반복되는 이야기는 그 반복되는 양 만큼 하여 빠지지 않게 했다.
9. 순서는 연대기 성경을 기준으로 했다. 연대기 성경의 누가복음은 중복되는 부분도 따로 정리된 게 많아 같은 내용을 한 가지 이야기로 만드는 취지에 맞지 않아 연대기 성경에 나온 누가복음과 순서에 따라 변형되는 부분이 있다.
10. 줄어드는 절 수 계산 - 원문은 마태복음 1071절, 마가복음 678절, 누가복음 1151절, 요한복음 879절, 사도행전 21절로 총 3800절이며, 이 책에 쓰인 총 절 수는 2810절로 중복되어 줄어든 절 수는 990절이고 전체에서 26%가 줄었다.
*성경은 원문 그대로 읽는 것이 가장 좋다. 모든 내용을 담기에는 부족하지만 빨리 많은 내용을 읽을 수 있고 이해하는 데 편리하기 위한 목적으로 만들었다. 또한, 사순절이나 고난 주간에 제목에 적힌 숫자에 따라 일정 부분 나눠서 읽기에 좋다.

This book is not new.
