VidTrim Pro - Video Editor

VidTrim, simply does what you would expect, as it's name implies, video trimming. Use the sliders to encompass what you want to keep and...in moments...POOF a brand new file to your specs. Need to remove multiple sections of a single vid? No problem, just do multiple trims of what you want to keep and then use the Merge tool to reassemble the clips back into one vid. Great app, been my go to tool for years. The only feature/ability that I would like to have would be a more precise way to set/select the start and end times of a video's timeline. All functions working for me on Samsung S4, Android 5.0.1

They made this app too difficult to use. It was so simple and easy to use before they updated it. Please release the old version of the app for non geeks. I loved how simple it was to use! It is very difficult to get a video to stop at the desired frame. Please add more trimming user control and add a faster forwarding arrow as well as the frame by frame arrow. Also add reverse arrows to make it easier if you pass the section I was looking for. Otherwise, this is a really good app. It just became difficult to use.

Extremely user friendly. Intuitive and fast. I am very impressed. The ease of use keeps my need to be mobil efficient and not upload just so I can to-do work later at my desktop. I am so sad that I waited so long to use it, could have saved a lot of time.

It used to work 100% correctly but now when I try and merge two 2 minute videos together instead of it producing a four-minute video it produces a video of 15 minutes and 39 seconds. The merged video plays correctly for the first 2 minutes and as soon as starting into what should be the second clip it freezes the video but the audio continues to play.

Messes up everytime I try to merge 2 videos. It just adds a bunch of added black footage half way through. I've had up to ten minutes of random black screen just from trying to merge videos. Dear devs, how's about actually reading this review and doing something

I previously rated this app with 5 stars. Now it has been updated and improved and I am saddened by the fact that I cannot give it a seven (Due to a further update I now want to up my star rating to 10) star rating now. It is the stand out app in it's category in my opinion. Highly recommended!

One of the key features of this app doesn't work for me. It's "merging". Everytime I merge videos, it crashes and ask me to reopen the app. I pressed send feedback, hopefully it will send the logs to deveper to fix it soon. I will change my review to 5 stars whenever merging feature works for me.

App used to work great. Merge no longer works properly. No matter what video you select second, it shows no video. Only blurred screen and sound. Fix this bug and I'll give it the review it should have.

Regret buying this. Try A/V converter. It's the best I've found so far, residuary if you like manual options + speed

Vidtrim pro is the best android video editing app I've found. Where many others have failed, vidtrim pro succeeded. Keep up the great work!

Used to work pretty well. Now, merged videos produce video that is not watchable, garbled or no video, garbled sound. Plus, trimmed area does not match with play time.

Setting a specific point where you'd like your VID TRIMmed (an action that one might assume VidTrim Pro is especially PROficient at doing) is a bit difficult...also, it'd be nicer if you could type in a start and stop time instead of using the slider. Other than that (oh, and not being able to crop vids, lol), it's not a bad app.

It always keeps original video even though it says I'll it. I have to search 4 the original to delete it 2 make room.The scale ratio is vertically long gated & I have to keep moving phone back and forth in order to correct it. Otherwise great app.

Worth paying for to enjoy casual video editing on Android. Only two items to address: 1) with some videos it encodes framerate erratically so they run at 2x speed for the first half second of playtime and then revert to proper 1x speed, and 2) participation in the regular beta doesn't seem to carry over into the paid version. I like having the latest features and tweaks in my paid version too! Keep up the good work.

This app will load a large file when others can't even hold it! Editing is a snap I ended up purchasing it, Well worth the money! You will not be sorry, one of the best out there for a purchase at a great price!!!

Works fine for trimming videos but doesn't work AT ALL for merging videos. When choosing video to merge with one already chosen, says "can't open selected file". Tried on multiple devices. Fix and I'll change rating.

Before its so easy to merge video in vidtrim,its so fast But now why its so slow Its take more than an hour in merging I pay for this,expecting its fastest than the other vidtrim i used before But they just the same!

When I'm merging a video together instead of finishing it just keeps going. Don't use this garbage app.

The best video editor on the play store that I've tested. 5 Stars not only for all the features available but also for all the different video formats that are supported. Even had no problem editing my AVI files

Removed AC3 codec which I used frequently. The copyright on the AC3 codec has expired and the codec hasn't been added back yet. This *Pro* app is no longer functional, I purchased the app to work on videos with the AC3 codec which it did well at time of purchase until recently. Please provide a full refund to this unusable app.

It used to work great but now, I guess after the update, it is useless. When I trim a video from both sides, it cuts off more in the starting side and keeps it longer on the ending side. This kills the purpose of trimming.

Does exactly what it says it will do and very quickly. Maybe future developments will bring a more precise way to trim at an exact frame instead of dragging the slider back and forth but it works fine for now.

Simple and good at what it does. It would be nice to have a more accurate way of setting edit points. Recent update is huge improvement to trimming. Latest update has removed file browsing capabilities

Wish you can adjust the volume of the audio when using an external audio track. Otherwise this app is perfect for editing my drum videos. Now if only it can edit mkv files for the HTC phones like the U11's HI Res Audio setting.

Long time user of this application. Over time I have found issues with splitting up video files and restitching (merging) them together. On the Galaxy S8 + I find that the audio is out of sync- either upon render or once uploaded to another source. Sometimes it won't render some of the scenes, either freezing at a frame while the rest of the audio of the video plays put, or saying it's unable to play. I am such a big fan of this application and its capabilities. But it's no longer my go-to video editor, and this means I have none at the moment. So ends my relationship, for now. Error when merging video "VIDEO CANNOT BE PLAYED" then crashes, useless for a paid app

This is a very useful App, Although lately i have been having trouble merging clips together, it either only plays first clip then freezes or the second half of the clip is speeded up , very frustrating

I've had this app for years and is now getting old, it's an okay app but needs more video editing functions, like joining two or more videos together with different transitions and effects, it would be better if it could link videos and pictures too, if it could do these things this app would easy get 5 stars and be worth paying, but at present there are free apps with no adds that do this and that are also more up to date. Bye guys I'm moving no to more up to date apps, it was good while it lasted, uninstalling????????

It's probably OK but my first experience has not been brilliant. I merged two videos and it ended up with the first one rotated 90 degrees in one direction and the second one rotated 90 degrees in the other direction. Weird.

Can't seem to find another video editor that will sharpen videos and then upscale to 1080p. Except for this which has done what I needed thank you

Two major bugs It is destroying Dual audio And their must be start video time and end video time should be in trim

Someone has used some of my trimmed videos for embedding backdoor links into my account and devices. I have object input stream serialization files as well as back trace.

Merging downloaded videos is problem ,won't merge some videos,the vieos it will merge works for awhile then stops and i get message , video pro has stopped,,please fix this
