VidTrim - Video Editor

Don't bother with this--it destroys your videos with a watermark every time! all your videos will have that unless you pay them. Also, AVIs don't show up on screen to trim, so I hope you know what second mark you want to trim to! WORTHLESS

I don't know where some of the other reviewers are coming from. There's no mandatory watermark on my videos and there are actually two tabs for trimming, not just one. That said, I agree with many others in saying that the trimming function could be better. You can only use the touch slider to set start and end points or tabs during trimming and because of that, it's not always accurate, particularly when you're cutting it close in terms of short videos or perhaps small intervals, or if you have chubby fingers or a small device. An input field for actual timestamps would therefore be a good addition but in any case, this app still does get the job done.

Great app! Does exactly what it's supposed to do. However, when I trim videos that are in a memory card, the overwriting function does not work. It simply adds the trimmed video in another folder while leaving the original one unedited. I'm using Asus Zenfone Max.

When splicing together are orientated correctly on preview but when finished, some become rotated. Over all not great experience, glitches and crashes. Wasn't willing to spend money on this.

When trimming, the bar at the top comes down really low, and then a stupid Google ad hangs down below that! It's ridiculous! And it didn't let me choose where to store my frame captures. But I'll admit otherwise it's nice and it's easy to use.

I love this app! However, I would absolutely love it more, if bugs are fixed. I saw this bug where portrait videos will crash in grab frame, and also all videos, when paused in grab frame, it will skip some frames. Also, please add a "previous frame" button next to the "next frame" button in grab frame. Please fix this!! Thank you.

Trimming doesnt work very well. The beginning is always different than what you select to trim, unfortunately. So useless for me

This app is stupid app. Don't waste your time.i cut the video after I watch my videos it is deleted.I am really disappointed in used this app.plz don't install this app

IT WAS TERRIBLE. I lost a very personal video to me. They should allow for people to save it as a separate video. THANKS A LOT.

Hey, when i try to merge 2 videos or 3 videos , there is always some fault in second video after merging like we can hear audio but can't see visuals but 1st and 3rd videos will play correctly. I have tried this different resolution, length and formats of the videos but it always gives faulty result. Please fix this issue

Lacks polish. Hard to trim things to correct second, only uses touch no numerical input. Splitting can be buggy with blank moments and cuts at the beginning and end of trimmed parts. Merging seems to work well though.

The video trimmer is fast and easy to use, but not perfect. The video freezes in some spots for a few seconds before resuming. Kind of annoying, but at least it didn't corrupt the entire file.

Annoyed because I edited a video & when the videos merge together they lag inbetween. Domt waste time with app like I did. I saw another review saying the same thing & I still tried this app. Don't do it! Its the worst

I'm sorry, but this new update sucks. Slider bar doesn't work and it does not trim your videos where you set it to. Please correct so I can change my review. Used to be a very good app

I was trimming video for 30sencods but for sum videos don't know why.. This app unable to cut correctly.. It trim them randomly for 36 37 seconds..

I thought this would be horrible because I read the comments..duh,who doesn't? Anyway, i read the comments but still decided to download it because it had good and bad reviews..but guess what..this is the best one yet!so excited this finally worked out!

The trim time is always bad and as for the "merge", videos are always bad and not smooth.. so after 3years of using, I am now no longer satisfied by this app

I got this for Instagram posting, and it does its job really well IMO. Now I can split videos so I can upload them to Instagram in an album instead of making multiple posts. I highly recommend this app for anyone who wants to trim video. Use a tablet if you can, though - on my phone it's some times hard to trim the way I want to.

Why do you people keep changing everything???? The old version was perfect. This doesn't even work on any of my devices. Rated at zero stars. Luckily there are other app that do work

Dear developers, I have trouble getting the accuracy for short videos trimming. By short I mean, a 1 second video. Sometimes I trimmed to 0.5 but it doesn't work, the trimmed version couldn't play the 0.5 sometimes they freezer. If it does work, rarely. I hope you could do something about it, regardless, still my favorite video trimming app. :)

Perfect for what I wanted. I was able to cut out all the irrelevant parts from my video and keep exactly what I wanted to show. Simply slide to trim. Also allows to keep the original video and save your cropped one as a copy. Great. Simple and effective app.

Here's first I used the merger for some time then the menu were u add the quality and stuff disappeared and it merges by it self with bad quality plz fix this.

It was awsome! Until you started to only edit supported files i use this app to add audio to my animations PLEASE FIX AND I WILL GIVE YOU GUYS 5 STARS

ohhh sir i need to inform that this app was work properly on my phone now it doesn't work properly ,i merging two videos the process shows me above 100 Percent like 110,125 please fix this problem sir we need you

Used to be a 5 star. Do the devs not yet these updates??? Why mess with what worked great before. Merging is a huge problem that still isn't fixed

Probably the best and easiest free video trimming apps, probably the paid version can do more but so far this is all I need. I love it!!!

Provides the fine - grained trimability to at least tenths of seconds that none of the other approx 10 apps I have tried provides. But getting the in point positioned precisely at the desired tenth of a second is as hard as hell. Another app (which falsely provides supposed hundredth of a second precision), Androvid, has a FAR better editing interface. I suggest the devs emulate that app, add aspect ratio control for instagram etc, and the ability to pause and scrub. Then they'll have here a clear winner among all the dross and a 5-star app. PS MAJOR PAIN ON THE ARSE: even if "save to new file" is selected, if you neglect to enter a new name the app will overwrite the original file, even though it (also) saves the "new" (yeah right) file to its own proprietary folder on internal storage (where I wouldn't have chosen to save it, HAD I BEEN GIVEN THE CHOICE). Christ. Can't anyone make a decent vid editor??

Love it. Being able to trim and merge vids lets you cut out any crap bits you accidentally film mid recording. Saved me

If you add a option to trim videos by Time(Second) would be great because it perfectly trim the videos where as in the current system not getting the perfect shot.

Where did you get the screenshots...? I still wonder how did you get this much rating.. My dear playstore ceo install this app and use it for 2 mins then you will definitely brake your phone trust me.

It's OK. But this new update isn't OK. Trimming videos now are so much harder and it won't trim where you set it to. It's annoying.

Didn't work to support anything but normal videos . I had some in my files that I couldn't trim at all . FU

PERFECT VIDEO TRIMMER.. one Of My Video file was unsupported to video trim but this App makes it so easy that i got video trim in a second. Thank U so Mch..✌

Hated it. Scrolling through videos on phone very difficult. No way to remove video clips from video before merge. Quit there. Uninstalled.

Your app is good. It does what it says it can do but one aspect you should consider is the way to select where you would want your video to be trimmed. This slidding thing is not precise. I suggest you add a selection mode of using numbers i.e 00:00:00 then you fill in.

I used to love this app it did its job amazingly unfortunately after the update. It made trimming videos harder because if I end it at a point it does a pit extra and it sometimes cuts off the starting of the video. Please fix them I'll rate 5 stars

The app is good but two things I want you to consider. first is the output storage. We should be able to select external sd card. in this way people with low interna memory will be able to save their work. the second thing is that make it possible to be able to join three or four video at a go. thanks.

Trim feature is a total failure. Only gives you 1 tab to work with and not 2. So this means if you only want let's say the middle of a video, it will only allow you to trim from the start of the video to whatever second after that. It's a total failure. Until you put 2 tabs in the trim feature I'm giving you 1 start.

When I merge multiple videos there's always a problem with the others, either they get scrambled up, audio gets bad or somehow it cuts the first few seconds off it. It's terrible. It cuts videos amazingly well but it's merging feature is a sham. It doesn't work properly. Please fix it
