Description:

Wifi Jumper automatically connects your device to the strongest available known WIFI network. Unknown, but unsecured networks are also supported to be connected to. Additionally, one can define "WIFI Zones" based on the current radiocell, in which your WIFI hardware will automatically be activated.
Leaving a Wifi Zone, Wifi Jumper will turn off WIFI hardware and saves energy. New cell-Ids for already defined Wifi Zones are added automatically while connected to a known WIFI.

In order to save even more energy, you are able to define timezones in which the airplanemode will be automatically (de-)activated. The advantages are not limited to energy saving: no radiation and disturbance while sleeping. Wifi Jumper is the perfect solution for many minor issues, but in only one app.

Note: Wifi Jumper uses android functionality that didn't support App2SD. We strongly recommend to make no use of App2SD!

Wifi Jumper needs the following permissions (reason):
- Location (determine position of WIFI Location on a map)
- Telephony (gather system-id)
- System utilities (autostart, airplanemode start/stop, WIFI start/stop)
- Networking (license check, scan for networks und status)

Note: Please give us a chance to improve Wifi Jumper. Let us know about any bad experiences and problems with Wifi Jumper before leaving any bad comments. We work hard to fix any issues reported by our customers. Thank you very much!

I paid for this, it's dope. Switches in between wifi networks and is easy to adjust to your needs.

still cannot detect/switch to stronger signal wifi.

It works at first, but then disconnects from wifi altogether. Ended up using 800mb of my 4G data watching youtube because I thought I was connected locally. Also, emailed developer but no response.

M70%
by M####:

I select "no icon" in the settings but still the icon is there. Also doesn't switch wifi networks automatically on Samsung Galaxy Note2.

M70%

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!! I DON'T USUALLY DO REVIEWS BUT I HAD TO TAKE TIME TO GIVE THIS APP THE PROP'S IT DESERVES! IT SINGLE HANDEDLY SOLVED ALL MY WIFI ISSUES. IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE IT 100 STARS! CONNECTS QUICKLY TO THE STRONGEST SIGNAL! WORKS FLAWLESSLY AS YOU ARE ON THE MOVE!

S70%
by S####:

I tried to use Best Wifi several times but it never worked on my Galaxy S3. So far this app does a much better job, meaning it actually switches between the three access points in my house. Knocking off one star for the crude UI.

M70%
by M####:

I had some initial problems due to an older LinkSys WAP54g (802.11g) access point in my rather extended home WiFi environment; however replacing that with a 802.11n device cleared that up. Setting the signal strength threshold to 40% made connectivity while moving about virtually seamless, An A1+ utility!!!

Over the last year or two I keep getting frustrated with this but keep coming back to it, most reliable I have found to date.

I live how this app automatically connects to my two different wifi signals. However it is annoying how it disconnects everytime it says for a stronger signal.

K70%

Does not switch between two routers with same ssid still have to turn wifi off and on to get best signal, thought this app would solve this problem. It does not.

Only found today that Android phones don't properly roam between wireless APs.... This fixes that problem on my HTC Desire.

E70%

Every time I try to add. my second AP it tells me it's already assigned. It worked when I first installed. Not sure if a patch broke it. Galaxy S3

M70%
by M####:

This is exactly the app I needed. I have three wireless AP's at my house and was constantly having to manually log into the strongest one. Installed Wifi Jumper and never looked back! Now I am always on the AP with the best signal no matter where I am in the house. Totally worth the price and runs seamlessly on my new Razr Maxx HD.

R70%

Works great at work picking best network at 10%variation in signal. Have to see how it works with repeater at home. Manual needs updating. Would be nice if you could also set it to only scan if signal goes below a selectable level. Would be nice if you could have it only check specific types in area so it won't try jumping on neighbours router

R70%
by R####:

to disable scanning/jumping when certain apps are running. Wifi jumper disrupts streaming.

P70%

Got 2 routers in our house but this app never connects to the strongest. It prefers the router with a VERY weak signal. Paid for the upgrade version in the hope that it would solve my problems but it has not.

N70%
by N####:

Works great on ASUS TF-101. I got 2 Routers in the house and 1 in the garage for the backyard. It's always a pain to switch to another router. This program switches automatic over. There are setting how fast to switch over and at what signal level.

M70%
by M####:

It works well if you dont use any outher wifi control app. Juice defender can mess this app up so location must be turned off.

R70%
by R####:

This app does exactly what it promises and actually has an extremely well written user guide to help get you started. The WiFi Zone feature is awesome! I've tried several other "Auto WiFi" apps in the past, but none worked very reliably. Either not enough cell towers or I had to use GPS, which doesn't work indoors and drains the battery. Automatically switching WiFi "on" when entering the range of a selected cell tower just flat works the best, plus scanning and locking onto the strongest WiFi connection available is an unbeatable combination. Simple, well planned, well developed, and well documented. It all adds up to well done!

I have a router, a wireless access point, and a wifi extender all in the same house. Big place, old construction which interferes with signals. This app works GREAT. You can tell it how often to scan and how much better the connection needs to be in order to switch. It will do it by itself or you can force switch. You can ask for a popup when switching or you can put it in your notification tray/bar. It works great, lots of options. Best 1.22$ I've spent in a long time. Would DEFINITELY recommend this app to anyone with the same issues I have (multiple routers, w.a.p's, extenders etc....... UPDATE. had to change rating to 4 stars because when you click the link for user guide and detailed instructions on how to tweak the app to your needs it automatically takes you to a 404 forbidden site. WTF!! THIS REALLY NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED

K70%
by K####:

perfect app for the s4, which amazingly doesn't consider signal strength and switch automatically to a better wifi network with a stronger signal... you would have thought that a basic need of a user... fear not this app sorts that problem for a few pence, im so glad I paid and got it, now I don't get stressed all the time cos the dam wifi is the wrong one and weak!! BRAVO!

Since i got my note 3 this app just stopped working. It doesn't connect automatically as it used to do. I tried to contact the developer with no answer.. It a shame .. It was really great on my old device. Last update was a year ago.
