Crashing when I try to make it default engine

This engine is bettter than Google textt to speech. I am blind and autistic and sometimes when the text to speech doesn't respond right away or at all I get worried and panic. I didn't have that problem with Google but I had it with ivona. Espeek is reliable and quick and talks fast. I like it to read fast because I understand the text when it is fast or slow, and I think normal, when it reads something in normal speed, or slow, is too slow for me. Even very fast on Google is slow compared to this TTS. Only issue is they need more options for voices rather than just the 2 origional robots, but I can't complain because for me it's perfect and frustration free and easy to use and adjust! Espeek rocks!

It was horrible. I didn't understand a word it said. The speech synthesis that was originally installed(and still is) was way better. I think even if they made it better, I still wouldn't use it.

Frustrating. When you open the app, it asks whether you want to make it default tts. If you say NO, the app closes, if you say yes, it declares, 'unfortunately it is stopped'.

It's just pathetic voice quality. Don't download this.

Cannot choose espeak as default tts. It says "unfortunately eSpeak TTS has stopped" and crashes. Device: Zenfone2

Crashes upon start on my Moto G2 ANDROID 6.0. So I can't tell if the app is good or not.

After installing this app on my phone (Moto E3 power), when I set espeak tts as my default engine, TalkBack says, "unfortunately, espeak tts has stopped". Why is it so?

It does not even run on my moto 4g lte device or any KitKat

On both my phones an S4 an Xperia z2

Fast and also when I opened my dictionary to listen to some words it will pronounce, realized words like synecdoche was mispronounced

it is able to read hindi.Thank u God..Google.. developers.. pl perfect it. it is too fast even at it's slowest settings.

It is a good screan reading software for the blind persons. Please release the new vortion. Thank you.

Even in slowest payback the voice. I agree with other post, it sounds like manic robot with way too much caffeine. Imperceptible. Uninstalled!!

Works, but vnSpeak TTS seems better for Vietnamese.

The Espeak Ap doesn't work on my 4.4 Kit Cat Tablet. Its a Samsung tab 4 and it should work!!! Please Fix it for I use it when I want my reading to be more responsive if I am in a hurry or need things to work really fast! Peace out I do like Espeak for productivity but crashing on my new Tab 4 Samsung is a 0 in my book... Fix this and I'll rate you a 5!

The quality of this speech engine is the lowest quality I have ever heard on any system... anywhere! This includes the early 1980s TTS. Just awful...don't bother.

This app work best when speech n rate set to low. Use female voice. As well, app not meant 4 reading large text, instead used for words translation. 60 languages tts in one.
