Google I/O 2017 for Android
Why crashing after few days?
Still instantly crashing after the update
Can't even open app after latest update
App crashing in OP3
Crashes at launch.
App crashing !
Good
Always crashing .....
This app is a disappointment. The first release was not functional to reserve seats and even with the updates it crashes frequently. It was exciting to hear about the new "AI first" mindset at Google, it would have been nice to see this implement something intelligent (e.g. show near by events/activities, stop showing past events in list, etc).
Its a pain trying to find the video stream of the lecture i want to see on YouTube. The last year's app allowrd streaming directly from the app. Hope you'd bring that feature back next year.
The app reservations didn't work. UI/ux is sub par as doesn't auto scroll based on time. And I'm surprised Google didn't use nfc on phones instead to have passes than having to wear this leash around my neck.
It would be much easier if there is a direct YouTube link after the each session. So we can easily explore the past sessions based on the our interests.
"My I/O" takes me to Wednesday morning every time I open the app. So I have to scroll through and find the current time/sessions each time. Very frustrating.
I cannot attend in person. I wish I could filter the sessions with video. All three days are a giant scroll fest. It's hard to compare sessions when you have to scroll up and down this much. I just registered for all just so I can see them in my calendar.
Kept stopping till recent update. But I didn't saw any mention of bug fixed on recent updates.
This bottom navigation bar is TERRIBLE and HORRIBLE. Never thought Google would be able to do this "thing"
Today's update fixed all the problems with the I/O 2017 version of the app! So excited for I/O to start tomorrow!!
It was pretty good. Little buggy, crashed on resume a lot. But it got the job done.
Functional app. Not a big fan of the bottom navigation bar. I liked the old (IO16) much better.
For the idiots complaining about how the bottom navigation style isn't in the guidelines. Check the guidelines deplorables.
Unnecessary permissions; Buggy animation; Thoughtless designs; Lacks of tablet supports.
No search function, seriously?! Session filter is not persisted. Tab sliding is buggy, cannot switch days by sliding.
What should I say nowadays? RIP Material Design.
No YouTube links for sessions. Just gotta go on YouTube meeh
I don't understand this apps
Great
Fine
Hate it
thanks
The app has many flaws... It's a good idea to be able to make reservations, but I got stuck in one of the slots, it says I can't make a reservation because I have another at the same time but I have nothing reserved or wait listed, this happened after I got an error while cancelling a wait list reservation. Now I'm unable to book anything for that time slot
Ignoring their own guidelines with that hideous navigation bottom bar. Also the app crashes very often when reopening. There should be some kind of button that adds each keynote to the user's calendar but well that's just me and my logic.
Seems like the Goole I/O app errors when trying to reserve a session are fixed in 80% of the cases... Still a few times I get ugly message telling me to retry later.
90% of the time it crashes when I try to launch it. Have submitted the crash reports several days ago now but still no fix. This app is nothing short of an embarrassment.
The app keeps crashing! I haven't been able to open it once after using it the first time. And I need to use it but can't!
Crashes every time I try to open it!! Come on, just few days before I/O. FIX IT !!
Instant crashes. Can't even open it and the event starts in 3 days. Come on Google!
Now I can't open the app at all. It just, crashes!
Fine update for Google IO 2017, BUT: 1- The first time you open it, it will crash 2- The bottom navigation bar is missing all the animations, giving the feeling that the app is lagging all the time.

Currently there's a bug, at least on my OnePlus 3T. You can't even open the app. It force closes right away.
